What We Cover

Independent MSP rankings for US businesses

Every city page shows you the top-ranked managed service providers in that market — scored, sorted, and ready to compare. Here’s how the Trust Score works.

A managed service provider (MSP) handles your IT infrastructure, help desk, cybersecurity, and cloud systems under a fixed monthly contract — so your team can focus on running the business, not troubleshooting it. Choosing the right MSP is one of the most consequential technology decisions a business makes, typically locking in a 12–24 month relationship.

The problem is that most “Top MSP” lists are pay-to-rank directories. The #1 result is the highest bidder, not the best provider. ITreviews.co was built to fix that. Every provider on this site is scored using the same six-factor Trust Score methodology — independently researched, publicly documented, and never influenced by advertising.

Our review data comes from Clutch (verified phone interviews with real clients), Google, and Cloudtango. Industry awards are evaluated against published lists from Channel Futures, CRN, and Inc. 5000 — not self-reported claims. Certifications, physical presence, and service breadth are all researched independently.

How Rankings Work

The Trust Score: every weight is published

Every provider is evaluated on the same six factors in every market. No provider submits their own data. No provider can pay to improve their position. The score is calculated from independent sources we control — so there’s no mechanism to buy a higher rank.

Provider Types

What kind of IT provider do you need?

MSP rankings are live across 78 cities, 4 statewide reports, 20 industry verticals, and 182 industry-in-city pages. MSSP rankings are now live; VAR and IT Staffing rankings are on the 2026 roadmap.

🖥️
Managed Service Provider (MSP)

Handles all of your IT infrastructure under a fixed monthly contract — help desk, endpoint management, patching, backups, and cloud management. The right fit for businesses that want IT fully outsourced or co-managed alongside internal staff.

✓ Rankings live — 78 cities + 4 statewide + 20 industries
🔒
Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP)

Focused specifically on cybersecurity — SOC monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, CMMC, SOC 2). Often overlaps with MSP capabilities; many top-ranked MSPs on this site also carry MSSP capabilities.

🔧
Value-Added Reseller (VAR)

Sells, configures, and supports hardware and software solutions — servers, networking gear, cloud licenses. Best for businesses with specific infrastructure projects rather than ongoing managed IT needs.

Common questions about MSP rankings

A Google or Clutch rating reflects a single data source — typically a star average from whoever chose to leave a review. The Trust Score aggregates six independent factors: review data from multiple verified sources, industry award recognition from named publications, years of operation, confirmed local presence, documented industry specialization, and service breadth.
No. There is no mechanism to purchase placement, a featured listing, or a higher score. The Trust Score is calculated entirely from independent data sources — review platforms, award publications, business registration records, and independently verified certifications.
City pages are refreshed quarterly. The refresh cycle re-runs the full six-factor research process for every provider in that market — new reviews are pulled, award lists are checked against the most recent published editions, and any changes to physical presence or service scope are re-evaluated.
City rankings are scoped to a single metro — a provider has to maintain a confirmed local presence in that market to be ranked. Statewide reports (California, Florida, New York, Texas) compare the highest-scoring providers across an entire state, so multi-metro firms can be evaluated head-to-head. Industry vertical rankings (Healthcare, Legal, Finance, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Government Contractors, Non-Profits, Construction, Real Estate, and Energy & Oil and Gas) reweight the Trust Score so vertical-specific specialization and compliance certifications get more weight — a healthcare MSP gets evaluated against healthcare-specific criteria like HIPAA, HL7, and EMR integration depth.
We’re adding markets on a rolling weekly basis throughout 2026. 78 US cities are currently live (see the A–Z grid above), plus statewide reports for California, Florida, New York, and Texas, and 20 industry verticals. If your city isn’t listed, request it here and we’ll add it to the queue.
