Best MSPs for Financial Services in Los Angeles (2026)

Kate Larsen, IT Research Analyst · Last updated: June 5, 2026 · No paid placements
Consilien ranks #1 among Los Angeles MSPs serving financial services firms in 2026 with a Trust Score of 8.0/10, built on 25 years in the LA market, MSP 501 recognition, and documented compliance across PCI DSS, SOC 2, and seven other frameworks. CyberDuo ranks #2 for its Cloudtango MSP Select 2026 recognition and dedicated financial services delivery. Rankings use the itreviews.co Trust Score methodology. No provider paid for placement.

Quick Picks

  • Best Overall for Financial Services: Consilien
  • Best Verified Client Track Record: CyberDuo
  • Best Financial Services Industry Page: Crimson IT
  • Best for CPA and Accounting Firms: ADS Consulting Group
  • Most Google-Reviewed LA MSP on This List: IT Support LA

Los Angeles ranks sixth on the Global Financial Centres Index, ahead of Shanghai. Over 500,000 jobs sit in Downtown LA’s Financial District alone. Wealth management firms, private equity shops, CPA practices, insurance brokers, fintech startups. All of them handle data that falls under SEC, FINRA, PCI DSS, GLBA, or some combination of those. Most of them need an MSP that doesn’t just keep the Wi-Fi on.

The problem is that almost every MSP in LA claims to serve financial services. Fewer have built a compliance stack that would survive a real audit. This list separates the providers that have documented their financial services capabilities from those that simply list “financial” on their industries page.

Every provider here was evaluated using the itreviews.co Trust Score methodology — six independently researched criteria applied identically to every firm. No provider submitted their own data. No provider paid for placement.

How We Ranked These Providers

Rankings are produced using the itreviews.co Trust Score — six independently researched criteria weighted and applied the same way to every provider. No provider paid for placement. No provider submitted their own data.

The six factors and their weights:

Trust Score Factors — LA Financial Services MSP Rankings

35%
Review ScorePulls from three platforms: Clutch (verified phone interviews with real clients, 15%), Google (universal baseline, 12%), and Cloudtango (IT-specific signal, 3%). Providers without a Clutch profile take a scoring penalty. Volume uses a logarithmic scale — going from zero to eight reviews matters more than going from forty to eighty.
20%
Industry AwardsCounts independently published recognition: Channel Futures MSP 501, CRN MSP 500, Inc. 5000, Cloudtango MSP Select. Self-described “award-winning” without a named, verifiable award doesn’t count.
15%
Years in BusinessMeasures longevity and operational maturity. Building an MSP client base in a regulated market takes time. Named leadership and active operations confirm the number isn’t just a domain registration date.
10%
Physical PresenceEvaluates whether the provider is genuinely rooted in Los Angeles or just claims the geography from a different region.
10%
Industry SpecializationEspecially important on this list. Every provider was evaluated on documented financial services capabilities — dedicated vertical pages, named compliance frameworks (SEC, FINRA, PCI DSS, GLBA, SOX), and evidence of real financial services clients. A bullet point listing “financial services” doesn’t score the same as a page that documents how they deliver it.
10%
Service BreadthMeasures the range of documented services. Breadth without depth doesn’t score well.

Consilien homepage screenshot — managed IT and compliance provider serving LA financial services firms

Twenty-five years in the Los Angeles market, an MSP 501 ranking, and the deepest documented compliance stack of any provider on this list. Consilien doesn’t have a dedicated financial services vertical page, but their compliance infrastructure covers every framework a financial firm would need. And then some.

Key Strengths

  • Documented compliance across nine frameworks including PCI DSS, SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, CCPA/CPRA, and GDPR. That’s not a marketing bullet — each framework has documented methodology on their compliance page.
  • Partnership with Manufacturers Bank Los Angeles for cybersecurity assessments, which puts them in direct contact with financial institution security requirements at a banking compliance level.
  • vCISO leadership in-house. Financial firms that need a security executive without hiring one full-time get that from Consilien’s team, not a contractor.
  • Co-managed IT option for mid-market firms that already have internal IT staff but need compliance and security expertise layered on top.

Limitations

  • No dedicated financial services vertical page. The compliance depth is there, but you have to find it through their compliance and cybersecurity pages rather than a single “financial services” landing page.
  • Premium model. Consilien targets 50-250 employee organizations. A three-person advisory firm likely isn’t the right fit.
  • Torrance headquarters means the office is south of DTLA. They deploy engineers across the metro, but the physical distance from the Financial District is worth noting.

Best For

Mid-market financial firms (50-250 employees) in regulated environments needing both managed IT and managed security under one provider, with compliance documentation that holds up to real audits.

Not Ideal For

Small financial practices under 20 employees, or firms looking for the lowest-cost IT support.

Why They Rank #1

Compliance depth is the deciding factor on a financial services list. Consilien documents nine frameworks. They’ve partnered directly with a Los Angeles bank on cybersecurity delivery. No other provider on this list combines that compliance breadth with 25 years of local operational history and a 2025 MSP 501 ranking. The gap between their compliance stack and the next-closest provider is the clearest scoring differential on this page.

CyberDuo homepage screenshot — managed IT and cybersecurity for finance in Glendale LA

Thirty-seven verified Clutch reviews at a perfect 5.0. That’s the highest Clutch review volume of any MSP on this list. CyberDuo also lists “Finance and Financial Services” as a primary industry they serve — not buried in a dropdown, but on their main managed IT page.

Key Strengths

  • Clutch review volume (37 at 5.0) means dozens of real clients completed verified phone interviews.
  • Cloudtango MSP Select 2026 — an annual IT-specific recognition based on business growth, customer satisfaction, and service offerings.
  • Financial services named as a primary industry they serve, alongside healthcare, law, entertainment, and manufacturing.
  • In-house SOC with real-time threat detection. Financial firms handling client portfolios overnight need that monitoring running while the office is dark.

Limitations

  • Fewer industry awards than Consilien or Crimson IT. Cloudtango MSP Select is meaningful, but no MSP 501 or CRN MSP 500 recognition confirmed.
  • Glendale location. Solid within LA metro, but not in the Financial District corridor.
  • Younger firm — approximately 16 years in business. Established, but not in the 20+ year category.

Best For

Financial services firms that prioritize verified client satisfaction over award count, and want a provider whose existing clients consistently validate the relationship publicly.

Not Ideal For

Enterprise-scale financial institutions needing a provider with a 20+ year track record and multiple Tier 1 industry awards.

Why They Rank #2

Review credibility. Having 37 verified Clutch reviews at 5.0 in a market where most MSPs have fewer than 10 tells you something about CyberDuo’s client retention and willingness to have relationships scrutinized by a third party. That signal carries real weight on a financial services list where trust isn’t optional.

Crimson IT homepage screenshot — managed IT for financial services in Downtown Los Angeles

Here’s what sets Crimson IT apart on a financial services list. They built a dedicated industry page that names every compliance framework a financial firm needs: SEC, FINRA, PCI DSS, GLBA, SOX. Not a generic compliance page that mentions financial services in passing. A page built for the financial services buyer.

Key Strengths

  • Dedicated financial services industry page documenting SEC, FINRA, PCI DSS, GLBA, and SOX compliance support with specific service descriptions for each.
  • US Bank Tower location in Downtown LA. Walking distance from the Financial District. That matters when your server room needs physical attention at 2 PM on a Tuesday.
  • Inc. 5000 recognition in 2025 (#3739), 2024, and 2018. Three appearances on the fastest-growing companies list across seven years tells a sustained growth story.
  • 83 Google reviews at 5.0. Highest Google review count on this list by a significant margin.

Limitations

  • No Clutch profile. That means no verified third-party client interviews. The Google reviews are strong, but Clutch verification is a higher bar, and its absence triggers a scoring penalty under the Trust Score methodology.
  • Founded 2011. Fifteen years in business is solid, but it’s less runway than providers with 20+ or 30+ year histories.
  • Smaller firm (51-100 employees per industry estimates). Larger financial institutions may need a provider with deeper bench depth.

Best For

Downtown LA financial firms, wealth management offices, and boutique advisory practices that want a provider within walking distance and documented SEC/FINRA compliance support.

Not Ideal For

Firms that require verified Clutch reviews as part of their vendor evaluation criteria, or large financial institutions needing a national-scale MSP.

Why They Rank #3

The financial services page is the strongest on this list in terms of documented framework coverage. The Downtown LA location is a genuine differentiator for financial firms concentrated in that corridor. Three years of Inc. 5000 recognition confirms the business is growing, not coasting. The Clutch gap is the main scoring drag.

124 Google reviews at 5.0. That number doesn’t happen by accident across 24 years.

Key Strengths

  • 124 Google reviews at a perfect 5.0. The highest Google review volume of any provider on this list, by a wide margin.
  • 24 years in the LA market (founded 2002). That kind of longevity in the MSP space signals real client retention.
  • Dedicated IT support page for accounting and finance firms covering FINRA, SEC, and IRS compliance standards.

Limitations

  • No industry awards confirmed. No MSP 501, no Inc. 5000, no Cloudtango presence.
  • Calabasas headquarters. That’s a 45-minute drive to Downtown LA’s Financial District on a good day. Two hours on a bad one.
  • Clutch profile shows only 3 reviews at 4.5, which is noticeably lower than their Google performance.

Best For

West Valley and Calabasas-area financial firms that want a long-tenured local partner with overwhelming Google review validation.

Not Ideal For

Downtown LA financial firms needing fast physical response, or firms requiring nationally recognized award credentials from their MSP.

ADS has built something unusual. They teach IT security and audit classes to the CIA, FDIC, U.S. Postal Service, and Intel. That credential positions them differently from every other provider on this page.

Key Strengths

  • Deep CPA/accounting firm specialization. Their landing page is purpose-built for mid-sized accounting practices with 20-200 staff.
  • ADS Cloud — a proprietary hosted cloud environment with claimed 100% uptime since 2013, built specifically for financial and accounting workflows.
  • Federal agency teaching credentials on IT security and audit topics signal a level of compliance expertise that goes beyond typical MSP delivery.
  • ~30+ years in the LA market. Among the longest-operating providers on this list.

Limitations

  • Only 4 Google reviews. That’s a thin public signal for a firm claiming three decades of experience. Likely reflects an enterprise-oriented client base that doesn’t leave public reviews, but the gap is real.
  • Rolling Hills Estates location is south of LA’s financial core. Not a problem for firms in the South Bay, but a factor for DTLA proximity.
  • No Clutch review data. Profile exists but has zero reviews.

Best For

CPA firms, accounting practices, and tax advisory businesses in the greater LA area that need a provider who genuinely understands financial software workflows, IRS compliance, and audit-readiness.

Not Ideal For

Fintech startups, investment firms needing SEC-specific compliance documentation, or firms that weight public review volume heavily in vendor selection.

Specialization

CPA & Accounting FirmsIRS ComplianceAudit-Readiness

Platform & Credentials

ADS CloudCIA / FDIC Teaching~30+ Years

Why They Rank #5

Nobody else on this list has taught security to a federal banking regulator. The CPA specialization is narrow and deep, which is exactly what an accounting firm wants from their MSP. What holds ADS back is visibility. Four Google reviews and zero Clutch reviews mean the public trust signal is thin, even if the private client relationships are strong.

Intelecis is headquartered in Fullerton — that’s Orange County, not Los Angeles. They’re on this list because they actively market to LA financial firms and have a dedicated managed IT services for finance page targeting Los Angeles. Whether that geographic stretch works for your firm depends on where your office sits.

Key Strengths

  • Dedicated finance industry page for the LA market mentioning SEC, FINRA, and PCI compliance.
  • 37 Google reviews at 5.0. Strong client sentiment across their Southern California base.
  • Founded 2010, 16 years of operation. CEO Frans Fuld is a published author who coaches other MSP owners on how to market, sell, and deliver cybersecurity services.

Limitations

  • Orange County headquarters. The LA service area claim is real, but the physical presence is in Fullerton, not within the LA metro.
  • No Clutch reviews. Profile exists, zero reviews.
  • No confirmed industry awards. No MSP 501, Inc. 5000, or Cloudtango MSP Select recognition.

Best For

Financial services firms in East LA, SGV, or the LA/OC border corridor that want a cybersecurity-first MSP without needing a provider physically rooted in central LA.

Not Ideal For

DTLA or West LA financial firms that need fast on-site response from a locally headquartered provider.

Cybersecurity-FirstFinance (LA Page)37 Google Reviews (5.0)

Why They Rank #6

The finance page exists, the cybersecurity expertise is legitimate, and the Google reviews back up the client experience. But an OC address on an LA list is a structural disadvantage. Pair that with zero Clutch reviews and no industry awards, and the Trust Score reflects a provider that’s credible but harder to verify from arm’s length than the five ranked above them.

STG positions itself explicitly as “a managed service provider for financial institutions.” Their website backs it up with a dedicated financial services page covering FINRA, SEC, GLBA compliance, blog content on the FTC Safeguards Rule, and specific mentions of endpoint protection, email archiving, and encryption for financial workflows.

Key Strengths

  • Dedicated financial services page with FINRA, SEC, and GLBA compliance documentation. Also publishes blog content specifically about financial services IT challenges.
  • 53 Google reviews at 4.9. Strong local review presence.
  • West Hollywood location — closer to central LA than some providers on this list.
  • CloudSecureTech recognized them for “Financial Services (PCI-DSS/SEC)” industry expertise.

Limitations

  • No Clutch profile. Scoring penalty applies.
  • No confirmed industry awards. No MSP 501, Inc. 5000, CRN, or Cloudtango recognition.
  • Founding year not independently verified.

Best For

Small to mid-sized financial firms in West LA, Hollywood, or Mid-City that want a local provider with documented FINRA/SEC compliance support and fast helpdesk response.

Not Ideal For

Firms requiring nationally recognized MSP credentials or verified third-party client reviews beyond Google.

Why They Rank #7

The financial services content is real. The Google reviews are solid. What’s missing is everything that lives outside their own website. No Clutch, no awards, no verified founding date. On a list where the Trust Score is built entirely from independently verifiable signals, that’s the difference between ranking seventh and ranking higher.

How to Choose an MSP for Financial Services in Los Angeles

Start with compliance documentation, not price. If your firm handles client money, client data, or both, the MSP conversation begins with SEC, FINRA, PCI DSS, and GLBA. Ask for the actual compliance page. Not a sales deck. The page.

Consilien, Crimson IT, and STG Infotech all publish that documentation. If a provider can’t show you how they deliver compliance without opening a PDF, that’s information.

So what should you actually look for before signing anything? Geography matters more for financial firms than most industries. When a wealth management firm’s trading platform goes down at 9:30 AM, “we’ll remote in” isn’t always the answer. Downtown LA firms should look at Crimson IT (US Bank Tower) or IT Support LA. South Bay firms have Consilien in Torrance and ADS Consulting in Rolling Hills Estates. Glendale-area firms have CyberDuo. West Hollywood has STG Infotech.

On cost: managed IT for financial services firms in Los Angeles typically runs $150-$350 per user per month, depending on compliance requirements and security depth. The high end reflects providers that include compliance-as-a-service, vCISO, and real-time SOC monitoring. The low end typically excludes some or all of those.

One question worth asking any MSP you’re evaluating for a financial services engagement: “Walk me through how you handled the last SEC or FINRA audit for a client.” The answer tells you whether they’ve actually done it or whether they’re learning on your dime.

The Bottom Line

Consilien ranks #1 for financial services MSP support in Los Angeles because their compliance stack is deeper, broader, and better documented than any other provider on this list. Nine frameworks. A banking partnership. MSP 501 recognition. Twenty-five years of local presence. For financial firms operating in regulated environments, that combination is the starting point.

For firms that prioritize verified client satisfaction above all else, CyberDuo at #2 has the Clutch review volume to back it up. For Downtown LA proximity and the strongest dedicated financial services page, Crimson IT at #3 fills that gap.

What Financial Services Firms Ask About MSPs in LA

Depends on your compliance exposure. If you’re an independent financial advisor with eight employees and no SEC reporting requirements, a general MSP with strong security practices can probably handle it. But if your firm touches PCI DSS, FINRA, or GLBA, you need a provider who has documented experience with those frameworks — not one who’s willing to learn them alongside you. Two different risks.
$150 to $350 per user per month is the realistic range. The spread is driven by compliance depth and security requirements. A basic managed IT plan covering helpdesk, monitoring, and patching sits at the lower end. Add vCISO, SOC monitoring, compliance-as-a-service, and SEC audit documentation, and you’re pushing toward the higher end. Anyone significantly below $150 per user is cutting somewhere — ask specifically where.
Three things to check. First, do they have a compliance page that names the specific frameworks — not a general “we help with compliance” page, but one that says FINRA, SEC Rule 17a-4, PCI DSS by name. Second, can they show you a client in a similar regulatory position? Third, have they done it before? Ask directly: “How many SEC or FINRA-regulated clients do you currently support?” Silence is an answer.
For financial services, proximity matters more than it does for most industries. Most day-to-day IT support works fine remotely. But hardware failures, office moves, server rack work, and compliance-related on-site assessments all require someone who can show up. If your firm is in Downtown LA and your MSP is in San Diego, that’s a three-hour round trip, four in traffic. Ask about average on-site response time, not just whether they “serve the LA area.”
An MSP manages your IT. Helpdesk, network, cloud, backups, day-to-day operations. An MSSP adds a security operations layer on top. 24/7 threat monitoring, incident response, security information and event management (SIEM), and a SOC. Financial firms handling sensitive client data increasingly need both. Consilien offers combined MSP+MSSP under one contract. Others on this list offer managed security as an add-on or through a partner.
