Best MSPs for Manufacturing in Seattle (2026)

Kate Larsen, IT Research Analyst · Last updated: June 9, 2026 · No paid placements
CompassMSP ranks first among the best MSPs for manufacturing in Seattle with a Trust Score of 8.2/10, the only provider on this list holding both a CRN MSP 500 and Cloudtango MSP Select 2026 recognition with a dedicated OT/IT manufacturing practice. ISOutsource (7.7/10) brings the deepest bench in the Pacific Northwest at 100+ employees and 33 years of operation. Fidelis (7.4/10) carries 7 consecutive Channel Futures MSP 501 appearances. Rankings use the itreviews.co Trust Score methodology — six independently researched factors applied identically to every provider. No provider paid for placement.

Manufacturing IT in Seattle isn’t generic office support with a hard hat on. The Puget Sound region is home to the largest aerospace supply chain in the United States, anchored by Boeing’s Renton and Everett facilities and hundreds of defense supply chain vendors. Aerospace manufacturing employed 77,400 workers in Washington in 2023 and paid $11.3 billion in wages, according to the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.

That means the MSP you pick needs to understand shop floor networks, OT/IT segmentation, ERP systems like NetSuite and SAP, and increasingly, CMMC Level 2 certification if you’re in the defense supply chain. Most generalist MSPs don’t touch OT environments. Some won’t admit that until month three.

Critical manufacturing accounted for 45.8% of all CISA ICS advisories in 2025, the single largest share of any sector. If your shop floor is connected to your network, the threat surface isn’t theoretical. We evaluated every Seattle-area MSP with documented manufacturing client work, then scored them on 6 independently researched factors. Here’s who made the cut.

How We Ranked These Manufacturing MSPs

Rankings are produced using the itreviews.co Trust Score methodology — six independently researched criteria applied the same way to every provider. No provider paid for placement. No provider submitted their own data. For a manufacturing-specific listicle, the Industry Specialization factor carries more interpretive weight than on a general city list. Providers with dedicated manufacturing pages, named ERP support, OT security documentation, and CMMC expertise score significantly higher than generalists claiming they “also serve” the vertical.

Two awards from two independent evaluators in the same year, plus a manufacturing practice that documents OT/IT micro-segmentation, MES integration, and a published CMMC Level 2 readiness framework. Nobody else on this list checks all three boxes.

Key Strengths

  • Named to the CRN MSP 500 Pioneer 250 for 2026 and earned Cloudtango MSP Select 2026 in the same year. Two Tier 1 recognitions from independent evaluators in a single cycle is rare for a mid-market MSP
  • Dedicated manufacturing industry page documents OT/IT micro-segmentation, OT-specific behavioral anomaly detection, and hybrid cloud/edge architecture for MES and scheduling systems. Not a checkbox — an operational practice
  • Clutch reviews include a verified engagement with Motors & Controls Corp, an industrial electrical wholesale distributor and UL508A panel shop manufacturer. Real manufacturing client. Named
  • Client testimonials from manufacturing operations including Marel Seattle Inc. and Seattle Tractor Parts, plus YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties on the nonprofit side
  • Published CMMC Level 2 readiness checklist specifically framed for defense manufacturing executives. vCIO assigned to every manufacturing client to align technology decisions with production goals and capital budgets

Limitations

  • Clutch rating of 4.3 across 4 reviews sits below the other scored providers on this list. Small sample, but the number is what it is
  • HQ is in West Hartford, CT, with the Kent, WA office serving the Pacific Northwest. That’s a multi-office national structure, not a born-in-Seattle operation
  • 75 Google reviews is solid but lower than CyberStreams’ 145. Volume isn’t everything (the Trust Score uses a log scale for a reason), but it’s worth noting

Best For

Mid-market manufacturers (50–200 employees) that need OT/IT segmentation, CMMC readiness, and a provider with audited industry recognition.

Not Ideal For

Very small manufacturers under 20 employees looking for simple break-fix support on a tight budget.

Why They Rank #1

CompassMSP scores highest because no other Seattle-area MSP matches the combination of industry awards, documented manufacturing-specific capabilities, and verified manufacturing client work. The Clutch rating is the weakest spot in their profile. Everything else stacks up.

100+ employees. Four offices across three states. 33 years of continuous operation. When a manufacturer needs an MSP that won’t fold, merge, or get acquired mid-contract, ISOutsource’s organizational depth is the answer.

Key Strengths

  • 33 years of continuous operation. Named one of Washington’s Best Places to Work by the Puget Sound Business Journal. That kind of tenure means they’ve survived every technology cycle since Windows NT
  • CRN MSP 500 Pioneer 250 (2024) and 5 consecutive years of SOC 2 Type II attestation. The SOC 2 streak is particularly relevant for manufacturers subject to customer security audits
  • 100+ employees including field technicians, remote support engineers, project managers, network architects, and managing consultants. When you need to scale support for a facility expansion or a multi-site rollout, headcount matters
  • Portland office noted for supporting manufacturing, creative industries, and retail clients. Manufacturing work routes through that location

Limitations

  • No dedicated manufacturing industry page on the website. Manufacturing clients exist (Portland office supports them), but you won’t find an OT/IT segmentation whitepaper or a CMMC readiness checklist
  • HQ is Bothell (north of Seattle). On-site response times to South Sound manufacturing hubs like Kent, Auburn, and Tacoma will be longer than providers based closer to the industrial corridor
  • 4 Clutch reviews and 27 Google reviews. For a company this size, the public review footprint is thin relative to their actual client base. That’s the enterprise client problem: bigger accounts leave fewer public reviews

Best For

Mid-market to larger manufacturers (75–500 employees) that need an MSP with real operational depth, SOC 2 attestation for customer audits, and the ability to support multi-site Washington operations.

Not Ideal For

Manufacturers specifically needing OT/IT segmentation or CMMC expertise as a primary buying criterion. ISOutsource’s compliance strength is in GRC and SOC 2, not defense manufacturing readiness.

Why They Rank #2

Nobody matches ISOutsource on organizational stability. 33 years, 100+ staff, SOC 2 Type II five years running. What they don’t have is a dedicated manufacturing page. That’s why CompassMSP, with its purpose-built manufacturing practice, edges them out on specialization despite a smaller team.

Fidelis managed IT services in Renton WA homepage screenshot

Seven straight years on the Channel Futures MSP 501. That’s the longest active streak of any MSP on this list, and one of the longest in the Pacific Northwest.

Key Strengths

  • The Channel Futures MSP 501 is an audited ranking based on revenue, recurring revenue percentage, profit margin, and growth metrics. Appearing once is notable. Appearing 7 consecutive years means a third party reviewed your financials annually and you kept qualifying. The highest awards signal on this list
  • Every employee is a Seattle-based Fidelis employee. No contractors, no offshore staff, no subcontracted help desk. Founded by Scott Wittstock, a former Marine and IT communications engineer. All engineers work from their building in Renton
  • Compliance facilitation across HIPAA, PCI, SOX, and GDPR. A broad compliance portfolio, though none of it is manufacturing-specific
  • Google rating of 5.0 across 23 reviews

Limitations

  • Nonprofits now account for over 40% of Fidelis’ managed services client base after acquiring TechieAvenger’s portfolio. That’s a different operational focus than a manufacturer running CNC machines and ERP systems
  • No manufacturing-specific page, no OT/IT documentation, no CMMC or NIST 800-171 language anywhere on the site. If your shop floor has PLCs talking to your office network, you’ll need to ask directly whether they’ve handled that environment
  • No Clutch profile and no Cloudtango presence. Strong Google reviews, but only one platform contributing to the review score

Best For

Smaller manufacturers (10–75 employees) where compliance needs center on HIPAA, PCI, or SOX rather than CMMC, and where the manufacturing IT environment is mostly office/cloud rather than heavy OT.

Not Ideal For

Defense supply chain manufacturers needing CMMC Level 2 readiness or any manufacturer with significant shop floor OT infrastructure.

Why They Rank #3

The 7-year MSP 501 streak is hard to argue with. It’s the most independently verified track record on this list. What Fidelis doesn’t have is manufacturing vertical expertise. The awards and operational maturity carry the score. The specialization gap keeps it from #1 or #2.

Started in 1999. 145 Google reviews at 4.9 stars. A guarantee that their help desk picks up within 90 seconds or you get $100 off your bill. That’s the CyberStreams pitch, and the numbers back it up.

Key Strengths

  • 145 Google reviews at 4.9 and 7 Clutch reviews at 4.9. The strongest public review profile of any provider on this list by a wide margin. At that volume and rating, you’re looking at a consistent client experience, not a handful of cherry-picked testimonials
  • The 90-second help desk response guarantee with a $100 credit is published and named. Most MSPs promise “fast response” without defining it. CyberStreams put a dollar amount on theirs. Plus a 90-day money-back guarantee on managed services
  • 27 years in operation from their Seattle location. Cloudtango lists them in the Seattle MSP directory
  • CMMC support documentation on the website. Not a full CMMC practice like CompassMSP or inTech, but the documentation exists

Limitations

  • No dedicated manufacturing industry page. CMMC documentation is present but doesn’t extend to OT/IT segmentation, ERP support, or plant floor networking
  • No MSP 501, CRN MSP 500, Inc. 5000, or Cloudtango MSP Select. Strong reviews, thin awards. The Trust Score weights awards at 20%, and CyberStreams scores 3/10 there. That gap between review strength and awards recognition is the defining feature of their profile
  • Tukwila/Seattle address. Close to the Kent/Auburn manufacturing corridor, but the operation is oriented toward general SMB support, not factory floor environments

Best For

SMB manufacturers (10–50 employees) that prioritize fast, reliable help desk response and want a well-reviewed local provider with a transparent SLA.

Not Ideal For

Manufacturers with OT networks, ERP integration needs, or CMMC requirements. The general MSP service model here doesn’t extend to shop floor IT.

Why They Rank #4

CyberStreams has the best public review profile on this list. If reviews were the only factor, they’d rank #1. But the Trust Score measures 6 factors. No industry awards, no manufacturing specialization, and limited service depth for industrial environments land them at #4. Good MSP. Not a manufacturing MSP.

inTech is the outlier on this list. They scored 10/10 on manufacturing specialization — the highest of any provider — while scoring lowest on awards and years in business. Here’s what that means.

Key Strengths

  • The only MSP in the Puget Sound region with a dedicated manufacturing industry practice that documents OT/IT segmentation, ERP integration (NetSuite, SAP, Epicor), CMMC Level 2 readiness for defense manufacturers, and published pricing specifically for manufacturing environments ($125–$225/user/month)
  • Certified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (OMWBE) and Public Works Small Business Enterprise (PWSBE) in Washington State. For manufacturers with supplier diversity requirements or government contract mandates, that certification has real contractual value
  • 5.0 Google rating across 112 reviews. The highest review volume among all 5.0-rated providers on this list
  • 90-day money-back guarantee: “If we’re not the right fit within 90 days, we refund 100% of your fees.” They publish this on every page
  • Founder Raj Sidhu published Beyond the Prompt: A Business Owner’s Guide to Understanding AI. That kind of published expertise comes from the founder directly, not a content team

Limitations

  • Newer operation. No MSP 501, CRN MSP 500, Inc. 5000, or Cloudtango MSP Select. The Trust Score weights awards at 20% and years in business at 15%. That’s 35% of the total score where inTech has minimal data
  • No Clutch profile. Only one review platform (Google) contributing to the review factor. With Clutch absent, 25% of the review score weight is lost per methodology
  • Kent, WA address. Closer to the South Sound manufacturing corridor than downtown Seattle, which is actually an advantage for manufacturers, but the operation is young relative to every other provider on this list

Best For

Defense supply chain manufacturers that need CMMC Level 2 readiness, any manufacturer that specifically needs OT/IT segmentation and ERP support, and companies with OMWBE/PWSBE supplier diversity requirements.

Not Ideal For

Buyers who weight organizational maturity and industry recognition above vertical specialization. inTech does the manufacturing work better than anyone else here. They just haven’t been doing it as long.

Why They Rank #5

inTech’s manufacturing specialization score of 10/10 is the highest on this list. Nobody else publishes OT/IT segmentation documentation, manufacturing-specific pricing, and CMMC readiness checklists for the defense supply chain. But the Trust Score measures total provider credibility, not just vertical fit. Newer company, no major awards, no Clutch presence. Give them 3 more years of operation and a CRN MSP 500 recognition, and this score changes significantly.

How to Choose a Manufacturing MSP in Seattle

Start with your shop floor: If you have CNC machines, PLCs, industrial robots, or any operational technology connected to your network, your MSP needs documented OT/IT segmentation experience. Not all 5 providers on this list have it. CompassMSP and inTech do. The others serve manufacturing clients but from the office IT side.

Defense supply chain — CMMC Level 2 is no longer optional: The Department of Defense is actively rolling out certification requirements, and failing to meet them means losing contracts. CompassMSP and inTech both publish CMMC readiness frameworks. Ask either one for a sample System Security Plan and check whether their tooling stack matches your C3PAO assessment framework before signing.

Office-and-cloud-only manufacturing IT: If your shop floor equipment runs on a separate, air-gapped network managed by your equipment vendor, you don’t need OT segmentation. Fidelis, ISOutsource, and CyberStreams all handle office-side manufacturing IT well. Be honest about what’s actually on your network.

Mid-market (75–200 employees) with multi-site operations: ISOutsource’s 100+ person team and 4-office PNW footprint gives them a scalability advantage nobody else here matches. CompassMSP’s national structure also scales, but from a different model.

Don’t skip the reference check: Ask every finalist for 2 manufacturing client references. Not “clients in regulated industries.” Manufacturing clients. Then ask those references what happened the last time a production system went down at 11 PM.

CompassMSP earns the #1 ranking because it’s the only Seattle-area MSP that combines independently verified industry recognition (CRN MSP 500, Cloudtango MSP Select 2026) with a purpose-built manufacturing practice covering OT/IT segmentation, CMMC readiness, and dedicated vCIO support for production environments. That’s a combination nobody else on this list replicates.

For manufacturers that need organizational depth and multi-state coverage, ISOutsource’s 33-year, 100+ person operation is the strongest bench in the Pacific Northwest. And for defense supply chain manufacturers whose primary buying criterion is CMMC Level 2 readiness, inTech Consulting’s vertical focus is unmatched, even though their overall Trust Score reflects a younger operation still building its awards profile.

What Seattle Manufacturers Actually Ask

$125 to $225 per user per month for fully managed IT, based on published pricing from providers on this list and broader Pacific Northwest benchmarks. Manufacturers with CMMC requirements land at the higher end. Co-managed IT (where you keep internal IT staff and the MSP fills gaps) runs $50 to $100 per user. The range depends on user count, device count, compliance scope, and whether OT environments are included.
About 40,000 square feet of shop floor that most MSPs have never walked. A manufacturing MSP understands ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Epicor, Dynamics 365), OT/IT network segmentation (keeping your CNC machines on a separate network from your email), and compliance frameworks specific to manufacturing like CMMC and NIST 800-171. A regular MSP handles your laptops, email, and cloud. A manufacturing MSP handles all of that plus the production floor. Not every manufacturer needs the second kind. If your shop floor is air-gapped, a strong generalist works fine.
Only if you’re in the defense supply chain. If you hold or pursue Department of Defense contracts, CMMC Level 2 certification is becoming mandatory. The Puget Sound has a dense aerospace and defense manufacturing base tied to Boeing and hundreds of Tier 2-3 suppliers. Two providers on this list (CompassMSP and inTech) publish CMMC readiness frameworks specifically for manufacturers.
Most MSPs optimize for volume. SMBs with 10-50 office workers are the bread and butter of the MSP model because the environments are predictable, the technology stack is standardized, and the margins work at scale. Manufacturing clients bring complexity (OT environments, shift schedules, compliance audits, ERP integrations) that doesn’t fit the cookie-cutter managed services playbook. The MSPs that do specialize in manufacturing tend to charge more and serve fewer clients. That’s the tradeoff.
Wrong framing. CyberStreams has the highest review volume on this list (145 Google reviews) and ranks #4. CompassMSP has fewer reviews (75) and ranks #1. The Trust Score uses a logarithmic review scale specifically because raw volume doesn’t tell you what you think it tells you. After about 60 reviews, additional volume mostly reflects business model (how many small clients leave reviews), not service quality. The Trust Score weighs reviews alongside 5 other factors.
Two. HTG Inc (Portland, OR) has a strong manufacturing/logistics IT practice covering Washington state but had no Google Maps business listing, no Clutch profile, and no Cloudtango presence. The 35% review weight produced a sub-4.0 Trust Score. CloudMinders was evaluated but their Google Maps listing is in Tigard, Oregon, not Seattle, which flagged a physical presence mismatch. Both are real, operating companies serving manufacturers. Neither met the Trust Score threshold for inclusion on this list.
