BCA IT, Inc. ranks #1 for Tampa real estate firms in 2026 with a Trust Score of 8.3/10, backed by a 36-year track record, Cloudtango MSP Select 2026 recognition, and a published real estate case study. Tampa real estate moves money. A lot of it. And the people trying to steal it know exactly where to look.

The FBI’s 2024 Internet Crime Report logged $16.6 billion in cybercrime losses, a 33% increase year over year, with business email compromise (BEC) alone accounting for $2.77 billion across 21,442 reported incidents. Real estate sits squarely in the crosshairs. According to data from First American Title, the FBI recorded close to $175 million in real-estate-related fraud losses in 2024, with the average fraud claim exceeding $143,000.

If you’re a managing broker, a property manager, or a title agent in Hillsborough, Pinellas, or Pasco County, your IT partner isn’t a back-office vendor. It’s the line between a closing and a wire that vanishes. So who do you trust with the keys to that infrastructure? That’s the question this guide answers.

We ranked the five Tampa-area MSPs best positioned to support real estate firms in 2026. Every provider was scored using the itreviews.co Trust Score methodology, applied identically across the field. No provider submitted their own data, and no provider paid for placement. How We Ranked These Providers

Rankings come from the itreviews.co Trust Score, a six-factor model applied identically to every provider on every list we publish. No exceptions. The highest score earns the top spot, and no provider paid for placement or submitted their own data.

Trust Score Factors — Tampa Real Estate MSP Rankings

35%
Verified ReviewsPulled from Clutch (15%), Google Business Profile (12%), and Cloudtango (3%). Volume is scored on a logarithmic curve so enterprise-focused MSPs with fewer, larger clients aren’t penalized for generating fewer public reviews.
20%
Industry AwardsThird-party recognition from independently published lists — the Channel Futures MSP 501, CRN MSP 500, Cloudtango MSP Select, Inc. 5000, and credible regional awards. Self-described “award-winning” without a named, verifiable award doesn’t count.
15%
Years in BusinessFounding date triangulated across company website, LinkedIn, and domain registration. Longevity in managed IT signals retention — building an MSP book takes years.
10%
Physical PresenceA verified Tampa-area office, named local staff, and a real Google Maps presence. A satellite-office checkbox doesn’t count for much here.
10%
Real Estate SpecializationDedicated real estate vertical pages, named compliance frameworks (FTC Safeguards Rule, SOC 2, PCI DSS), and published case studies. Generic “we serve real estate” doesn’t score.
10%
Service BreadthDocumented depth across helpdesk, cybersecurity, cloud, backup, compliance, and vCIO. Breadth without depth doesn’t earn full credit.

A note on the Clutch weight: when a provider has no Clutch profile, half of the Clutch weight redistributes to Google and Cloudtango and the other half is lost. Clutch verification involves real client phone interviews — skipping it costs something, and that’s intentional. See exactly how we score every provider →

One thing shapes this particular list: Clutch presence is uneven across Tampa real estate MSPs. BCA IT, My Tampa IT, and Next Perimeter carry verified Clutch profiles; MetroTech and HERO Managed Services have none. Because verified reviews are weighted at 35%, that gap moves the rankings more than any other single factor.

BCA IT managed IT services for real estate in Tampa homepage

BCA IT has been doing this since 1990 — 36 years of managed IT in Florida, with a Tampa office at 400 N Tampa St and a published Clutch case study describing cybersecurity and IT services delivered to a real estate investment group. That’s not a marketing claim. It’s a verifiable client story sitting in the public record.

Key Strengths

  • Clutch rating of 4.9 across 25 verified phone-interview reviews — the strongest verified-review base in the Tampa field
  • Cloudtango MSP Select USA 2026 designation, one of a small list of Florida MSPs to earn it in 2026
  • 12-layer cybersecurity stack documented on their service pages, including endpoint detection, dark web monitoring, and a TOTALRecovery backup framework with a documented restore process
  • Vertical specialization across real estate, legal, manufacturing, logistics, nonprofit, financial services, and consulting — useful for brokerages with adjacent business lines (title, mortgage, property management)
  • Founding leadership still in place. Kenneth Henao runs the business

Limitations

  • Tampa is a satellite office, not the headquarters. The bulk of the day-to-day team works out of Doral and Brickell, with regional offices across South Florida
  • Most Google reviews live on the Miami/Doral profile, not the Tampa GMB (only 4 reviews at the time of this review). The Clutch profile is the more accurate footprint signal
  • Average hourly rate of $100–$149 and a minimum project size of $5,000+. Not the cheapest option in the metro

Best For

Multi-office Tampa brokerages, property management firms with multiple lines of business, and title companies that want a partner with documented real estate experience and a 30+ year operating history.

Not Ideal For

A 5-agent boutique brokerage that wants every IT call answered by someone they know personally. BCA can serve this customer, but it’s not their sweet spot.

Why They Rank #1

BCA IT is the only Tampa-serving MSP in this field that combines a published real estate vertical case study, a Tier 1 industry award (Cloudtango MSP Select 2026), and a 36-year operating history. The score reflects depth across every factor, not dominance in one. If you’re a Tampa real estate firm doing $10M+ in annual GCI and you want an MSP that can speak to your auditor, your title affiliate, and your insurance carrier in the same breath, this is the one to start with.

My Tampa IT real estate, mortgage and title services page

My Tampa IT publishes the only dedicated Real Estate, Mortgage and Title services page in the Tampa MSP field that names FTC compliance explicitly as part of the offering. That’s a strong signal for any firm with affiliated business lines.

Key Strengths

  • Perfect 5.0 Google rating across 75 reviews — the highest combined rating-and-volume score in the field
  • 5.0 Clutch rating across 12 verified reviews. Both major review platforms align on quality
  • Documented real estate services include MLS credential protection, agent mobile workforce support, secure document sharing through Egnyte, identity management, and compliance support for HIPAA, SOC 2, CMMC, and PCI-DSS for adjacent lines
  • AI-powered automation built on Microsoft Copilot, n8n, and Rewst is named on their public Clutch profile. Few Tampa MSPs document this level of platform specificity
  • Founded 2009, active under the same leadership (Linwood Wright) since

Limitations

  • Wesley Chapel HQ, not Tampa proper — closer to a 35-minute drive from downtown. Pinellas-side firms in Clearwater or St. Pete will find them further than Tampa-based options
  • An 11–50 employee count puts them in the small-to-mid range. Brokerages with 200+ agents across multiple locations should verify they can scale to that environment
  • No documented Tier 1 industry award. Plenty of strong client reviews, but the recognition circuit hasn’t caught up to them yet

Best For

Tampa-area brokerages, mortgage firms, and title agencies that want IT, cybersecurity, and FTC Safeguards Rule readiness from one provider — especially firms with affiliated business lines (a brokerage that also owns a title company, for example).

Not Ideal For

Large enterprise real estate firms that need an MSP with 200+ employees and a documented track record supporting 500+ user environments.

Why They Rank #2

My Tampa IT has the strongest review signals in the field and the most detailed publicly documented real estate practice. What keeps them from #1 is the absence of a Tier 1 industry award and the smaller operating scale relative to BCA. For Tampa real estate firms in the 20–150 user range, this could easily be the right answer regardless of the ranking.

Tampa HQ on Westshore. Zero trust. SASE network-as-a-service. MXDR. SIEM. Those are the words on their homepage, in that order. If wire fraud and BEC are the cybersecurity outcomes you actually care about, this is the only Tampa MSP in this group built around that thesis.

Key Strengths

  • Tampa headquarters at 1211 N Westshore Blvd, with a 50-mile guaranteed 4-hour on-site response radius covering all of Hillsborough, Pinellas, and most of Pasco County
  • Cybersecurity-first product architecture: SASE replaces VPN, MXDR runs threat detection and response, SIEM handles log correlation. For a real estate firm worried about BEC, this is the strongest defensive stack on the list
  • US-based engineers, no offshore call centers, and a documented hire-for-empathy approach
  • Founded 2006 as IT Support Guys, rebranded November 2024. Same operating company, same Tampa headquarters, same leadership

Limitations

  • No dedicated real estate vertical content. Their positioning is industry-agnostic with a heavy cybersecurity orientation. If you want a provider that names Stellar MLS in a case study, this isn’t them
  • Only 2 reviews on their Clutch profile. The reviews they have are strong (5.0 average), but the volume gap relative to BCA and My Tampa IT is significant
  • Service tier is targeted at the 20–300 user range. Boutique 5-agent brokerages and 1,000-agent enterprise brokerages are both outside their stated sweet spot

Best For

Tampa real estate firms where the primary IT problem is preventing wire fraud, securing agent identity, and standing up a defensible cybersecurity posture. Mid-market brokerages with 20–300 users that don’t need real-estate-specific marketing language from their MSP.

Not Ideal For

Boutique 3-agent operations, or large brokerages that need a provider with documented multi-office, multi-state experience.

Why They Rank #3

Next Perimeter scores high on physical presence (Tampa HQ), longevity (20 years), and service breadth (cybersecurity depth few competitors match). Where they lose ground is industry specialization. A real estate firm could absolutely do well with Next Perimeter, but the firm would be supplying its own real estate context rather than getting it from the provider. The score reflects strong fundamentals with a vertical gap.

MetroTech Tampa Bay IT service provider homepage

MetroTech is the only MSP in this field that publishes a dedicated Property Management vertical page in addition to a dedicated Real Estate page. Two separate documented practices — a distinction that matters more than it sounds.

Key Strengths

  • 4.9 Google rating across 111 reviews — the largest verified review volume of any provider on this list
  • Family-owned and operated since 2005 by U.S. Air Force veteran Eric Plummer. Named technical staff (Dylan, Sean, RJ) are repeatedly identified in client reviews
  • Two distinct vertical practices for the broader real estate ecosystem (residential and commercial real estate plus property management for multifamily, condo associations, and vacation rentals)
  • Service coverage across Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, Manatee, and Sarasota counties

Limitations

  • No Clutch profile. Under the Trust Score methodology this costs them roughly 0.75 points on the Reviews factor. The Google reviews are strong, but Clutch’s verified phone-interview process is a separate credibility signal they don’t carry
  • No Tier 1 industry award (Cloudtango listing only, no MSP Select designation)
  • HQ is Clearwater, not Tampa. For downtown Tampa firms this is a 30-minute drive. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting

Best For

Tampa Bay property management companies, condo associations, short-term rental operators, and traditional residential brokerages with a Pinellas-side base of operations.

Not Ideal For

Real estate firms that require Clutch-verified case study evidence as part of their vendor evaluation process.

Why They Rank #4

MetroTech’s review volume is exceptional and their vertical specialization for property management is the strongest in the field. The Trust Score penalizes them for the missing Clutch presence, which lands them at a near-tie with Next Perimeter at #3. For property managers specifically, you may want to evaluate MetroTech ahead of the Trust Score ordering.

Downtown Tampa at 400 N Ashley Dr. Recently recognized as a 2025 Best of Florida Regional Award winner and named the 2025 Best Managed IT Services Provider in Tampa Bay by Best of Best Review. Awards on the wall. A smaller review base than the top three, but the trust signals are real.

Key Strengths

  • Two named regional awards in 2025 (Best of Florida Regional, Best of Best Reviews Tampa Bay) — the strongest recent award trajectory of any provider in this field outside BCA
  • Downtown Tampa HQ. For brokerages with offices in the Channel District or Hyde Park, the proximity is real
  • Real estate listed as one of six named vertical specializations on their service pages
  • Daniel Di Fulvio is the public face of the company. Named leadership matters when something goes sideways at 3 a.m.

Limitations

  • 4.6 Google rating across 21 reviews. Solid, but the lowest combined score in this field on the Reviews factor
  • No Clutch profile. Same penalty as MetroTech under the Trust Score methodology
  • The company’s founding timeline is ambiguous. A “more than two decades” claim on some marketing materials conflicts with their website footer (© 2012–2026), so the years-in-business signal is harder to verify than for the top of the field

Best For

Smaller Tampa real estate firms (5–50 users) headquartered downtown or in Hyde Park, Channel District, or Westshore that want a local provider with documented regional recognition.

Not Ideal For

Larger brokerages requiring extensive verified case study evidence or a Tier 1 national award like MSP 501 or MSP Select.

Why They Rank #5

HERO’s recent award momentum is real and the downtown Tampa presence is a genuine advantage for some buyers. The Trust Score lands them at #5 primarily because the review volume and Clutch presence are thinner than the top of the field. Worth considering for the right buyer profile.

How to Choose an MSP for Your Tampa Real Estate Firm

Where do you start? With the threat model, then the size band, then the geography. That’s the order that matters.

The threat model first. If your nightmare scenario is a wire fraud during a $1.2M residential closing or a BEC attack that diverts a month of HOA payments offshore, lead with cybersecurity capability. Look for documented zero-trust architecture, MXDR or MDR, identity-first email security, and a documented incident response playbook. The FBI’s IC3 data is clear: BEC alone accounts for $2.77 billion in annual losses, and real estate is one of the most targeted verticals.

Size band next. A 5-agent boutique brokerage and a 200-agent multi-office firm have different IT needs. Below 20 users, focus on a provider that operates well at small scale (HERO, My Tampa IT, MetroTech). The 20–150 user range opens up the full field. Above 150, BCA’s multi-office experience starts to matter materially.

Geography third. If you’re downtown Tampa, HERO and Next Perimeter are closest. South Tampa or Westshore, same. Wesley Chapel or New Tampa skews toward My Tampa IT. Clearwater, St. Pete, Largo, and the Pinellas side lean MetroTech. Multi-office brokerages can use any of the top three.

Ask about Stellar MLS and incident response. Two questions cut through the noise: do you support Stellar MLS credential enforcement and MFA for agents on shared workstations? And what’s your incident response time for a suspected wire fraud in progress? Sixty minutes is the right answer. Six hours is not. If they don’t know what Stellar MLS is, they don’t know your market.

For mortgage and title affiliates, ask about FTC Safeguards. Can the provider document FTC Safeguards Rule compliance and the written information security program (WISP) requirements? Pricing in the Tampa real estate vertical generally runs $130–$250 per user per month for fully managed services, depending on user count, number of offices, security stack depth, and compliance requirements.

The Bottom Line

For most Tampa real estate firms with 20+ users and adjacent business lines (title, mortgage, property management), BCA IT is the strongest starting point. The combination of a 36-year operating history, a published real estate vertical case study, and Cloudtango MSP Select 2026 recognition makes them the highest-credibility option in this field.

If your operation is fully Tampa-Bay-focused and you want deep FTC Safeguards Rule expertise, My Tampa IT (7.4/10) is the strongest alternative. If your primary IT problem is wire fraud prevention and you want a Tampa-headquartered cybersecurity specialist, Next Perimeter (6.4/10) is the right call. Property management firms should evaluate MetroTech ahead of the Trust Score ordering.

What Tampa Brokers Ask About IT Support

Three things, mostly. They run the day-to-day technology your agents and staff depend on (laptops, Microsoft 365, the phone system, the document management platform). They prevent the security incidents that can cost you a closing or your entire brokerage (wire fraud, BEC, ransomware). And they handle the strategic IT planning that lets you grow without your tech stack falling over (M&A integrations, new office openings, agent onboarding). A good Tampa MSP for real estate does all three under one flat-rate contract.
Three to six weeks for most brokerages under 100 users. The clean version assumes you have your current vendor contracts in hand, an inventory of your active line-of-business applications (MLS, CRM, transaction management, accounting), and a managing broker available to sign off on access changes. Add a week or two if any of those pieces are missing. The first 30 days of any new MSP relationship are mostly discovery and documentation, not heroics.
Usually. The break-even math is straightforward. If a single wire fraud incident at your closing table would cost more than 12 months of MSP fees, the answer is yes. The average real-estate-related fraud claim runs over $143,000 according to First American Title data, and Tampa MSP fees for a 20-user brokerage typically land between $3,000 and $5,000 per month. The math isn’t subtle.
An in-house IT person is one human with one set of skills working business hours. An MSP is a team of engineers covering helpdesk, cybersecurity, cloud, networking, and compliance, available 24/7. The in-house route works for very large brokerages with full-time IT needs. For most Tampa real estate firms under 150 agents, the MSP model delivers more capability at lower total cost. The exception is brokerages with deeply customized line-of-business applications that require a dedicated technical owner.
Better question than “good versus bad”: how do you tell a good fit from a bad fit for your specific firm? Look for documented real estate experience (a case study, not a bullet point), named local engineers (not an offshore queue), a published incident response time commitment (not “we’ll respond promptly”), and an SLA tied to outcomes (resolution time, not just acknowledgment time). The best MSP for a 300-agent multi-office brokerage is not the best MSP for a 5-agent Hyde Park boutique. Fit is everything.
Generally not to the brokerage itself, but yes to any affiliated business line that touches consumer financial information. Title companies, mortgage brokers, and lending operations are explicitly covered. If your brokerage owns or affiliates with a title or mortgage business, you need a written information security program (WISP), encryption, multi-factor authentication, access controls, and ongoing security awareness training. A good Tampa MSP documents all of this as part of standard onboarding. A bad one charges extra for it later.
