Best MSPs for Manufacturing in Houston (2026)
Quick Picks
- Best Overall for Houston Manufacturers: Uprite Services
- Best for Microsoft ERP and Defense Manufacturing: Centre Technologies
- Best for Mid-Market Houston Operations: IronEdge Group
- Best for National Compliance Backing: Integris
- Best for Katy and West Houston Small Manufacturers: Impress Computers
If you run a manufacturing operation in Houston, your IT decisions look different than a downtown law firm’s or a Galleria medical practice’s. A production line going dark for 90 minutes isn’t an inconvenience. It’s missed shipments. Missed shipments to customers who are watching every quarter, sometimes every week. And the threat landscape isn’t theoretical. Manufacturing has been the most-attacked industry five years running, accounting for 27.7% of all cyberattacks in 2025, according to the IBM X-Force 2026 Threat Intelligence Index.
This guide ranks the best managed service providers for Houston manufacturers using the itreviews.co Trust Score methodology — six independently researched factors applied the same way to every provider on this list. We pulled verified review data, confirmed local presence through Google Maps, scraped Clutch profiles, and checked Cloudtango MSP Select status. No provider paid for placement. No provider submitted their own data. The rankings reflect scores. Full stop.
How We Ranked These MSPs
Rankings come from a 6-factor Trust Score. Reviews matter most. Awards, tenure, presence, vertical specialization, and service breadth fill out the picture. Same criteria, every provider, no exceptions.
The full methodology is published in detail. The short version, with weights:
Trust Score Factors — Manufacturing MSP Rankings
A note on what this scoring catches that competitor listicles miss. Most “best MSP” pages you’ll find ranking for this keyword are written by MSPs about themselves. The top three results today position one of the providers reviewed as their own #1 pick. That’s not a ranking. It’s a sales page. Our methodology applies the same yardstick whether the provider is a 13-person Katy shop or a national firm with offices in Cranbury and Spring. Whoever scores highest, ranks first.
A note on the Clutch absence penalty. Two providers on this list (Centre Technologies and Rand Group) have profile pages on Clutch but no verified reviews. The methodology applies a 50% Clutch weight loss when reviews are absent. Half of that weight redistributes to Google and Cloudtango. The other half is lost. Not having a Clutch profile populated isn’t disqualifying. It’s a credibility floor question, and the scoring reflects that honestly.

The Top 7 MSPs for Manufacturing in Houston
Score Breakdown

The only provider on this list with both a populated Clutch profile and a dedicated manufacturing service page. Uprite has been Texas-only for 27 years, runs a Houston-headquartered SOC, and has shown up on the Channel Futures MSP 501 six years running.
Key Strengths
- Six consecutive years on the Channel Futures MSP 501 (2020 through 2025), most recently ranked #227 on the 2025 list among the world’s elite managed service providers.
- Premier Verified on Clutch with a perfect 5.0 average across 11 reviews. The only provider in this Houston field with that combination of rating and volume.
- A dedicated /manufacturing/ service page that addresses production uptime, ERP stability, OT/IT integration, and shop-floor cybersecurity by name. Most “manufacturing MSPs” in Houston have a bullet on a homepage. Uprite has a page.
- Documented work with Houston factories on CMMC, NIST 800-171, and ISO 27001 compliance readiness, plus support for SCADA environments. That’s not a marketing claim. Their case studies reference specific manufacturing operations.
- CRN Pioneer 250 (2025) and the ForzaDash MSP 555 Award (2025). Stephen Sweeney, CEO, has run the firm since the rebrand from 3coast Services.
- Service area is Texas-exclusive, which sounds like a limitation but reads differently from the manufacturer’s seat. Your account team isn’t being pulled off your factory to deal with a New Jersey hospital at 2 a.m.
Limitations
- 10 to 49 employees per their Clutch profile. A national chemical manufacturer with five US plants would likely outgrow Uprite’s bandwidth before the contract anniversary.
- Cloudtango listing exists, but no MSP Select 2026 award confirmed in current research. Centre wins on this single sub-factor.
- Pricing transparency is partial. The Clutch packages page lists starting prices of $91 to $138 per user per month, which is helpful, but enterprise compliance scope pushes well past that. Confirm scope before signing.
Best For
Mid-market Houston manufacturers (25 to 500 employees) running mixed IT and OT environments, especially those pursuing CMMC compliance, recovering from a ransomware event, or replacing an in-house IT team that can’t keep up with ERP and shop-floor demands. Not Ideal For
Single-plant SMB manufacturers under 10 employees where the budget can’t support $138/user/month, or multinational manufacturers with operations in multiple states needing one MSP relationship across all facilities.Services
Industries
Why They Rank #1
Uprite is the only provider here that hits the full credibility stack. Populated Clutch profile with real verified reviews, six straight years on a merit-based industry ranking, dedicated manufacturing documentation rather than a checkbox, and a Houston HQ rather than a satellite address. Centre’s award depth is arguably stronger on paper. But the Clutch absence is a meaningful credibility gap for a #1 candidate. Uprite earned the top spot because the data points where you can independently verify them. They show up.
Score Breakdown

The largest Texas-headquartered MSP on this list, and the only one with Cloudtango MSP Select USA 2026 recognition. If your manufacturing operation runs on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Centre is the closest thing to a default answer.
Key Strengths
- Cloudtango MSP Select USA 2026, plus a stack of CRN recognitions including the 2026 MSP 500 Pioneer 250 and the CRN Tech Elite 250 (three years running). Channel Futures MSP 501 #155 in 2025, up from #388 the year prior.
- CMMC-AB Registered Provider Organization (RPO) status. For Houston defense suppliers and any manufacturer holding DoD contracts subject to CMMC Phase 1 enforcement, that designation is the gate.
- Microsoft Solutions Partner with deep Dynamics 365 Business Central expertise. Centre acquired SMB Suite in October 2025 specifically to expand Microsoft ERP capability for manufacturers, distributors, and finance teams.
- 16801 Greenspoint Park Drive in Houston is their HQ, with 64 verified Google reviews on the home location and offices across Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Tulsa. About 201 to 500 employees per their internal profile data.
- Approximately $57 million in annual revenue, which puts them in the upper tier of Texas-headquartered MSPs.
Limitations
- Empty Clutch profile. A profile page exists, but no verified reviews are present. That’s a real gap in third-party verification for a provider of Centre’s size and tenure.
- Manufacturing is one of several stated industries, not the primary focus. Healthcare, energy, and financial services get equal billing on their site. If you want an MSP whose marketing copy talks about your industry first, Uprite reads that way more clearly.
- Acquisition-driven growth (CIT, Architel, TXSG, RITC, SMB Suite, Dallefeld) creates integration questions. Ask specifically how the support team has been consolidated across the acquired entities.
Best For
Texas manufacturers running Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics F&O, defense suppliers needing CMMC readiness through a registered RPO, mid-market operations across 100 to 1,000 employees, multi-site Texas manufacturers needing offices in more than one metro. Not Ideal For
Manufacturers running NetSuite, SAP, or Epicor ERPs where Centre’s Microsoft-first orientation creates partner friction. Small Houston shops under 25 users where the enterprise pricing structure overshoots the need.Services
Industries
Why They Rank #2
Centre’s award profile is the deepest in this field. The CMMC-AB RPO status alone makes them a Tier 1 candidate for defense manufacturers. The Cloudtango MSP Select 2026 recognition is the single strongest current-year IT-industry award on this list. Where Centre loses ground is the review factor. An empty Clutch profile costs them about 0.5 points in the scoring, which is the difference between #1 and #2 here. Populate the profile, and they likely lead this list at the next refresh.
Score Breakdown

225 Google reviews at 4.9 stars on a single Houston office is the largest verified local review base on this list, by a wide margin.
Key Strengths
- 225 verified Google reviews at 4.9 stars on the Houston Park Ten office. For context, that’s more than three times Centre’s local review count and more than four times Uprite’s. Customers frequently highlight the team’s extensive knowledge and experience in handling various technical challenges across multiple Houston business types.
- Channel Futures MSP 501 ranked #189 in 2025. Cloudtango MSPus Select 2025 (next year’s status pending). Founded 2005, so 21 years of Houston operations.
- Energy Corridor location at 16285 Park Ten Place puts them physically next to a meaningful concentration of Houston’s energy, engineering, and aerospace manufacturing employers. That matters for on-site response time.
- Industry-aligned solutions pages for Engineering, Manufacturing, Financial, and Construction. Four named verticals, with Power BI dashboards as a documented secondary capability. Useful for manufacturers who want operations data visibility without paying for a separate BI consultant.
- Co-managed IT model is real. Their service page explicitly distinguishes co-managed from fully outsourced engagements, which is how mid-market manufacturers with one or two internal IT staff typically want to engage.
Limitations
- Clutch presence is thin. One verified review at 5.0 stars, sourced primarily for their Power BI dashboard work. That’s a real review volume gap relative to Uprite or Integris.
- Manufacturing service page exists but lacks the documented compliance specifics (CMMC, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001 named explicitly) that Centre and Uprite both surface. If you’re a defense supplier, ask for documented framework experience.
- “5,000 Employees” listed on their Clutch profile is almost certainly a data error. Verified ZoomInfo data and their own site reference a much smaller team.
Best For
Houston manufacturers in the Energy Corridor, Katy, Sugar Land, or West Houston who want a provider with confirmed local response capacity. Engineering-adjacent manufacturers needing Power BI and operations data visibility alongside MSP.Not Ideal For
Defense manufacturers with CMMC Phase 1 obligations where documented compliance framework experience is the entry requirement. Manufacturers needing third-party Clutch verification as part of their vendor onboarding. Why They Rank #3
IronEdge has the strongest local review credibility on this list (225 Google reviews is hard to fake or stuff). The MSP 501 #189 ranking and Cloudtango MSPus Select 2025 recognition put them solidly in Tier 1 award territory. Where they fall short is the manufacturing-specific compliance documentation, which Centre and Uprite both lead on. For manufacturers without strict regulatory exposure, IronEdge is arguably the most accessible choice in the field.
Score Breakdown
The only national MSP on this list with substantial verified Clutch credibility. The Houston office is a satellite of their Cranbury, NJ headquarters, which matters more than the marketing materials suggest.
Key Strengths
- 92 verified Clutch reviews at 4.9 stars, Premier Verified status. The deepest verified review profile in this field. Recognized as a 2025 Fall Clutch Global Award winner across managed services, digital forensics, and incident response.
- National network with industry-aligned practices for manufacturing, healthcare, legal, and financial services. The current Integris brand came from the 2021 merger of Domain Technology Group (founded 1997), Compudyne, MyITpros, and ProviDyn, so the operational lineage runs almost three decades.
- SOC 2 compliance, 24/7 help desk, vCIO services, and a documented AI and cloud practice. If you want a provider that can deliver enterprise-grade incident response when something actually breaks at 11 p.m. on a Saturday, Integris has the scale.
Limitations
- The Houston-area presence is a satellite office in Spring, TX with only 4 verified Google reviews. That’s a meaningful tell. The actual locally-staffed team in Houston is small.
- Brand consolidation happened in 2021. The original constituent firms had longer track records, but Integris as a unified entity is five years old. For manufacturers used to twenty-year relationships with their MSPs, that’s a different proposition.
- Manufacturing is one of several vertical practices, not the primary identity. Their best-documented work is across financial services and consulting.
Best For
Multi-state manufacturers with operations in multiple US metros who need one MSP relationship across all facilities. Compliance-heavy manufacturers requiring SOC 2 documentation in their own vendor management process. Not Ideal For
Houston single-site manufacturers who want a locally-headquartered provider with named local engineers visible on the website. Defense contractors who need a Texas-headquartered firm to satisfy “buy local” preferences. Why They Rank #4
Integris has the strongest verified Clutch credibility in the field, full stop. What pulls the score down is the Physical Presence factor. A 4-review satellite office in Spring isn’t the same as Centre’s Greenspoint HQ or Uprite’s Westheimer location. For a Houston manufacturing buyer, that local presence question is real.
Score Breakdown

608 verified Google reviews at 4.8 stars is the largest review volume on this list, and 30+ years in Katy is the longest tenure of any provider here. The catch is the absence of Tier 1 MSP industry awards.
Key Strengths
- Founded 1993, making Impress the longest-tenured provider in this field. 33 years of Katy and West Houston operations.
- 608 verified Google reviews at 4.8 stars. That’s not a typo. Whether you trust 600+ Google reviews more or less than 92 verified Clutch reviews depends on your epistemology, but the volume is real.
- Dedicated manufacturing service page documenting NIST 800-171, CMMC, and ISO 27001 compliance readiness. Specific claims like “15-minute IT support response” and “99.9% uptime record” are on the page.
- Uses Datto, ThreatLocker, Microsoft 365, and Fortinet as the documented stack. Standard SMB MSP tools, but transparently named rather than left vague.
Limitations
- No Channel Futures MSP 501, CRN MSP 500, or Inc. 5000 recognition confirmed in current research. “Best of Katy” is a real local award but a Tier 2 signal, not Tier 1.
- 13-employee team per public records. That’s a real bandwidth ceiling for any manufacturer past about 100 users or with multi-shift coverage requirements.
- Clutch profile has only 2 verified reviews. Significantly less independent verification than the 608 Google reviews would suggest.
Best For
Small manufacturers in Katy, Sugar Land, Cypress, and West Houston (under 50 users, single facility) who want a long-tenured local provider with documented compliance posture and rapid on-site response. Not Ideal For
Mid-market or multi-site manufacturers, defense contractors needing CMMC-AB RPO status (Impress documents CMMC readiness, but is not an RPO), or manufacturers prioritizing third-party industry awards in vendor selection. Why They Rank #5
Impress has the longest tenure and the highest raw Google review volume here. The Years in Business factor scores them a perfect 10. What pulls them down is the Awards factor. Without a Tier 1 industry recognition, they sit below the providers with MSP 501 or Cloudtango MSP Select credentials. They are likely the right answer for a specific kind of Katy small manufacturer. They are not the right answer for a Houston defense supplier with CMMC Level 2 obligations.
Score Breakdown

A 5.0-star Google rating across 117 reviews is rare. The catch is no Tier 1 industry awards and a service-list rather than service-page treatment of manufacturing.
Key Strengths
- Perfect 5.0 Google rating across 117 verified reviews. The only provider in this field with both a 5.0 average and triple-digit volume. That’s a meaningful client satisfaction signal.
- 17 years of Houston operations, with named CEO Charles Swihart. Texas-focused (Houston, Austin, San Antonio service areas).
- Process-driven approach is documented. Their managed services page makes specific claims about transparency dashboards and quarterly business reviews. Useful for manufacturers who’ve been burned by MSPs that go quiet between contract renewals.
- Lists manufacturing alongside oil and gas, construction, engineering, and bookkeeping in their served industries. Real, just not exclusively manufacturing-focused.
Limitations
- No MSP 501, CRN MSP 500, Inc. 5000, or Cloudtango MSP Select recognition confirmed. Cloudtango listing exists but without the Select designation.
- Manufacturing appears in their served-industries list, not on a dedicated service page. Centre, Uprite, and Impress all do better here.
- Only 5 verified Clutch reviews. Most of their public review base is on Google and an in-house testimonial system.
Best For
Small Houston manufacturers (under 50 users) who prioritize personal accountability and a small-firm feel, and who don’t need formal compliance framework documentation as part of the engagement. Not Ideal For
Defense manufacturers, manufacturers needing third-party industry award validation, or manufacturers running on Dynamics 365 or NetSuite where ERP-specific expertise matters. Why They Rank #6
Strong review credibility on Google. Weak award profile. The 5.0/117 Google score keeps them respectable, but the gap on Tier 1 industry recognition and on documented manufacturing depth places them below the providers above them.
Score Breakdown

The most ERP-focused firm on this list. Not a full-stack MSP in the same way the others are, but the right answer for a specific kind of Houston manufacturer.
Key Strengths
- 23 years in Houston, Microsoft Gold Partner, NetSuite Solution Provider, and a repeat appearance on Accounting Today’s Top 100 VAR list. The ERP credentials are real and specific.
- Documented manufacturing, distribution, oil and gas, and construction industry expertise. Their service line is Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central, F&O), NetSuite, and the managed IT layer that supports those platforms.
- Houston-headquartered (440 Louisiana St in downtown plus 6575 W Loop S in Bellaire). 101 to 200 employees, named leadership team.
Limitations
- Empty Clutch profile, like Centre. The 50% Clutch weight penalty applies, and that’s the single biggest factor pulling Rand’s score below the others.
- 9 Google reviews at 4.6 stars. Lower review volume and a slightly lower average than every other provider on this list.
- Not a traditional MSP. The managed services line exists, but their identity is ERP consulting first. Manufacturers needing a primary IT partner (24/7 SOC, MDR, vCIO, full helpdesk) will find Rand’s stack lighter than Centre’s, Uprite’s, or IronEdge’s.
- No MSP 501 or CRN MSP 500 recognition confirmed. Their awards are VAR-side (Accounting Today, Microsoft partner tiers).
Best For
Houston manufacturers whose entire IT operation rotates around Microsoft Dynamics 365 or NetSuite ERP, and who already have an internal IT team or another MSP handling the day-to-day. Rand is best as a complementary ERP-specialist partner, not a primary MSP.Not Ideal For
Manufacturers without an ERP, manufacturers needing cybersecurity-led service (SOC, MDR, incident response), or manufacturers running Epicor, SAP, or Plex where Rand’s Microsoft/NetSuite specialization doesn’t apply. Why They Rank #7
Real expertise in a narrow lane. The Trust Score doesn’t reward narrow lanes when measured against full-stack MSPs. If your selection criterion is “best Dynamics 365 partner in Houston,” Rand likely tops your list. If your criterion is “best MSP for a Houston factory,” they do not.
How to Choose an MSP for Houston Manufacturing
Match the provider to your scale, your compliance exposure, and your existing IT stack. Three factors decide most of it. Everything else is detail. Some practical guidance by scenario:
If you have CMMC Phase 1 obligations: Centre Technologies and Uprite Services are the two clearest answers. Centre holds CMMC-AB Registered Provider Organization status. Uprite documents CMMC readiness experience across multiple Texas manufacturers. The DoD’s CMMC Phase 1 rule took effect on November 10, 2025, requiring all Defense Industrial Base contractors to verify their System Security Plan and complete Level 1 or Level 2 self-assessments before contract award. Phase 2 introduces mandatory C3PAO third-party assessments starting November 10, 2026.
If you run Microsoft Dynamics 365 or NetSuite ERP: Centre Technologies for Dynamics, Rand Group for either Dynamics or NetSuite. Both are Microsoft-partnered and have documented manufacturing ERP work. Centre wins on overall MSP scope. Rand wins on pure ERP depth.
If you have a small Houston manufacturing operation (under 50 users): Impress Computers, Preactive IT Solutions, or IronEdge Group depending on your specific location. Impress for Katy and West Houston. Preactive for Houston proper. IronEdge for the Energy Corridor. All three offer flatter pricing structures and faster on-site response than the larger firms.
If you operate multi-site across Texas or nationally: Integris for the national footprint and 24/7 NOC. Uprite if your sites are all in Texas. Centre if you need Texas plus Oklahoma coverage from one provider.
If you have an internal IT team and want co-managed: IronEdge Group and Preactive IT Solutions both have documented co-managed offerings. Dataprise (which didn’t make this list due to limited Houston presence) is also worth a conversation if you want a national co-managed partner.
A practical note on pricing. Houston managed IT for manufacturers typically runs $125 to $250 per user per month for full-stack engagements. Compliance-heavy environments (CMMC, NIST 800-171) push that to $175 to $325 per user per month, depending on assessment scope. Uprite’s published Clutch packages start at $91 for co-managed and $138 for full service, which is on the lower end of the Houston range. Confirm scope before signing. Backup and disaster recovery, OT/SCADA monitoring, and after-hours response are often billed separately.
What about the providers who didn’t make this list? Andromeda Technology Solutions ranks #1 on our national Manufacturing MSP list, but they’re Illinois-headquartered with no Houston presence. Geography knocks them out for a city-specific buyer. Securafy and Cortavo also appear on national manufacturing lists, neither has Houston operations, neither was scored here. Several Houston-area MSPs (NexusTek, Techcess, ICS, CHR Managed Services, Infonaligy) were considered in the longlist but didn’t make the final cut on Trust Score signals, primarily review credibility, award profile, or documented manufacturing specialization.
The Bottom Line
Uprite Services earned the #1 ranking on this list for Houston manufacturers in 2026 with a 9.1/10 Trust Score. The combination matters more than any single factor. A populated Clutch profile with verified reviews. Six consecutive years of merit-based industry recognition. A dedicated manufacturing service page rather than a checkbox. A Houston HQ rather than a satellite address. They earned the position.
If Uprite isn’t the right fit, if you’re a Texas defense supplier needing CMMC-AB RPO status, or a manufacturer running on Dynamics 365 that needs Microsoft ERP depth, Centre Technologies is the clearest #2. If you’re a mid-sized West Houston or Energy Corridor manufacturer, IronEdge Group’s 225 verified Google reviews and local depth are hard to argue with.
