Chattanooga has earned a reputation as one of the country’s top logistics and transportation hubs. Companies like Steam Logistics, Covenant Transportation Group, and U.S. Xpress call it home, and according to Inc. Magazine’s 2023 rankings, 11 of the city’s fastest-growing private companies operate in the logistics and transportation sector. That density creates a specific IT challenge: the systems keeping freight moving — the ELDs and TMS platforms and carrier portals — need infrastructure support from an MSP who actually understands the vertical.

This page ranks the top MSPs serving logistics and transportation businesses in the Chattanooga area. Every provider was scored using itreviews.co’s independent Trust Score model. No provider paid for their position here. Scores drive rankings, period. For the broader market, compare Chattanooga MSPs across every industry.

How We Ranked These Providers

We scored each provider across six independent factors: verified review data (35%), industry awards (20%), years in operation (15%), confirmed physical presence (10%), vertical specialization (10%), and service breadth (10%). The same weights were applied to every provider.

Review data comes from Clutch, Google, and Cloudtango only — no self-reported testimonials count. Providers without a Clutch profile receive a structural penalty: half of the Clutch weight is lost, not redistributed. Industry specialization scoring requires documented evidence, not checkbox marketing: a real logistics page, named service lines, or verifiable client references score differently than a bullet buried on a services page. We checked every provider’s website directly.

LBMC Technology Solutions managed IT logistics Chattanooga TN homepage

LBMC Technology Solutions is the highest-scoring MSP on this list, earning its top position through a combination of third-party recognition (Cloudtango Global100 2026), the broadest documented service portfolio in the group, and verified client outcomes across a multi-state footprint with a confirmed Chattanooga office.

Key Strengths

  • Earned the Cloudtango Global100 2026 designation, which Cloudtango awards based on business growth, customer satisfaction, and service offering maturity, not just revenue
  • Operates out of 605 Chestnut Street in downtown Chattanooga as part of a four-office Tennessee practice that also includes Nashville, Knoxville, and a recent Memphis expansion
  • ERP depth is a real differentiator: LBMC integrates Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, and other financial management platforms alongside managed IT, which matters for logistics companies running complex billing, freight, and dispatch systems
  • Named client VSC Fire & Security and Nashville Zoo on its Cloudtango profile, showing real diversity in operational complexity handled
  • Service breadth goes further than most competitors on this list: AI consulting, custom software development, cybersecurity, CRM, VoIP, and business intelligence all sit under one contract

Limitations

  • LBMC’s HQ is in Brentwood, TN; Chattanooga is a satellite office. If on-site response time in the city is a daily operational need, confirm staffing levels at the local office before signing
  • Primary industry depth appears to be healthcare, construction, and private equity. Logistics-specific content isn’t documented separately on the website, so ask directly about their freight and transportation experience during an initial conversation
  • Larger team and multi-service model means pricing is likely on the higher end of the Chattanooga market

Best For

Mid-market logistics and 3PL companies that also need help with ERP, financial systems, or business software alongside managed IT. Freight brokerages or dispatching operations with complicated back-office tech stacks.

Not Ideal For

Small trucking companies with 10-20 seats looking for the lowest-cost managed services option. LBMC’s portfolio model skews toward more complex, multi-system environments.

Why They Rank #1

LBMC has the deepest technology stack on this list and the only confirmed major third-party recognition (Cloudtango Global100 2026) for the current year. The ERP and business software layer is rare among Chattanooga MSPs, and for logistics companies whose IT needs don’t stop at helpdesk and endpoint, that breadth is genuinely hard to find locally.

Scipio Technologies managed IT connectivity Chattanooga TN homepage

Scipio Technologies has been operating in Chattanooga for over 25 years, holds a 2025 MSP 501 #241 ranking, and runs its own colocation facility in the city. That makes it the strongest combination of longevity, physical infrastructure, and third-party recognition among the providers that call Chattanooga home as their actual headquarters.

Key Strengths

  • Ranked #241 on the Channel Futures 2025 MSP 501, a global annual ranking of managed service providers based on operational maturity, growth, and service delivery, not self-reporting
  • Operates its own Chattanooga data center (1100 East 11th Street), which matters for logistics companies that need colocation, backup, or dedicated internet sourced from a provider with local redundancy
  • Explicitly lists logistics as a served vertical alongside healthcare, manufacturing, and government in its client industry language
  • 92.5 NPS noted on its website — a meaningful customer satisfaction indicator worth confirming with the provider directly
  • Multi-city presence (Chattanooga, Knoxville, Nashville, Huntsville) gives it coverage across a geography where many Chattanooga logistics companies operate satellite locations

Limitations

  • No dedicated logistics or transportation industry page exists on the website. Logistics is listed, not documented. Ask specifically about logistics clients and transportation use cases before assuming depth
  • Clutch profile not confirmed during research, which limits the independent third-party review signal compared to providers with active Clutch presence
  • Broadband and connectivity-led positioning may not suit logistics firms whose primary need is compliance or ERP integration rather than infrastructure

Best For

Logistics companies that need a Chattanooga-based provider with its own data center, dedicated internet services, and multi-site regional coverage across Tennessee and Alabama. Good fit for carriers and 3PLs with colocation or connectivity needs.

Not Ideal For

Logistics companies needing deep vertical documentation before signing, or those whose primary IT need is software integration and financial systems management.

Why They Rank #2

25 years in Chattanooga, a local data center, and an MSP 501 ranking put Scipio in a position that few competitors in this city match. The connectivity and colocation capabilities are genuinely differentiated for logistics operators who need local infrastructure, not just remote IT management.

InfoSystems Inc supply chain IT Chattanooga Tennessee homepage

Founded in Chattanooga in 1994, InfoSystems is the only provider on this list with a dedicated, documented supply chain and transportation IT practice page. That specialization, combined with IBM Platinum Partner status and over 31 years of operation, earns it the third spot despite the absence of Clutch reviews.

Key Strengths

  • Runs a documented supply chain IT practice covering cybersecurity reviews, ransomware mitigation for OT environments, risk assessments, and automated efficiency programs using Red Hat Ansible, VMware, and IBM tooling
  • Named as a Red Hat Advanced Business Partner, IBM Platinum Partner, and Dell partner, which puts it in a different infrastructure capability tier than most regional MSPs
  • 31 years in operation, with Chattanooga as its only headquarters, not a satellite. Local roots run deep
  • CRN Solution Provider 500 #476 (2025) and CRN MSP 500 Elite 150 (2022) recognition puts it on two Tier 1 national lists across recent years
  • The explicit transportation framing is rare — InfoSystems’ website says directly that “transportation is a competitive, cost-driven market where operational effectiveness and optimizing working capital is the competitive advantage.” That’s a firm that has thought about this vertical

Limitations

  • Zero reviews on Clutch. That’s a real gap for enterprise buyers who want independent third-party validation before a major contract. InfoSystems has testimonials on its own site, but the Clutch absence is notable for a 31-year-old firm
  • Enterprise and mid-market positioning. Small freight brokerages or owner-operators looking for SMB-friendly pricing may find this firm sized above their needs
  • Less visible in the Chattanooga consumer review ecosystem than some newer competitors

Best For

Enterprise logistics operators, large 3PLs, and supply chain companies with complex infrastructure, OT/IT overlap, or requirements around IBM storage, disaster recovery, and operational security.

Not Ideal For

Small trucking companies or owner-operators. InfoSystems’ documented focus runs toward mid-market and enterprise environments.

Why They Rank #3

No other MSP on this list has built a dedicated supply chain and transportation IT practice with named vendor partnerships and documented methodology. That specificity, combined with 31 years of local operation and two national recognition appearances, earns InfoSystems its position despite the absent Clutch reviews.

WYRE Technology managed IT logistics Chattanooga TN homepage

WYRE Technology was founded in February 2021 by four co-founders who spotted a gap in Chattanooga’s MSP market. Four years later, it’s ranked #53 on the 2025 Channel Futures MSP 501 globally and #745 on the 2025 Inc. 5000 on 320% three-year revenue growth. That trajectory is the story here.

Key Strengths

  • #53 on the 2025 MSP 501 is a standout result. This isn’t a regional award — it’s a global ranking of MSP operational maturity and performance
  • ChaTech TechX Tech Company of the Year 2024 is the top local technology recognition in Chattanooga. Won, not just nominated
  • Security-first positioning with 24/7 monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and CIO as a Service built specifically for growing companies
  • 1010 Georgia Ave Chattanooga headquarters with confirmed Chattanooga Chamber membership and veteran-owned designation
  • Growing fast enough to attract organizations comparing MSPs: the 2025 Inc. 5000 and MSP Pioneer 250 together represent different credibility dimensions

Limitations

  • Founded in 2021. Four years of track record is limited compared to competitors with 10-31+ years of operations. If long-term stability signals matter to your procurement team, that gap shows in the score
  • No dedicated logistics or transportation vertical page exists on the website
  • No confirmed Clutch profile during research, which removes one independent review signal

Best For

Fast-growing logistics tech companies, freight brokerages, and transportation software firms that want a Chattanooga-based MSP with modern tooling and nationally recognized operational standards.

Not Ideal For

Carriers or 3PLs that need documented transportation compliance expertise or an MSP with 15+ years of client continuity in the region.

Why They Rank #4

The award resume for a four-year-old firm is genuinely unusual. MSP 501 #53 globally and Inc. 5000 recognition in the same year puts WYRE in a tier above most regional providers. The youth of the firm costs it points on the longevity factor, but the trajectory is worth watching.

MCA Technology Solutions IT Chattanooga TN homepage

Mike and Karen Collins started MCA in Chattanooga in 1987 selling IT hardware out of a two-person office. It’s now a 125+ employee firm with offices in Nashville and Knoxville, still headquartered in Chattanooga, and still locally owned. That longevity is real.

Key Strengths

  • 38 years in operation, the longest tenure of any provider on this list. In a city that’s had a lot of business churn in the logistics sector, that stability is a signal
  • 125+ employees and its own cloud hosting data center, meaning it’s not reselling another provider’s infrastructure
  • Customized service model: MCA doesn’t offer standard packages. Every engagement is scoped to the client’s specific environment and needs
  • On-site and remote support across multiple Tennessee cities, with Chattanooga as the original and primary location

Limitations

  • No logistics or transportation vertical page was found on the website. If you’re evaluating specifically for freight or carrier experience, you’d need to ask directly
  • No confirmed Tier 1 national list appearances in recent research, which limits how it compares on the awards factor versus WYRE or Scipio
  • Older firm positioning may not appeal to logistics tech companies looking for a provider current with modern stack options like AI-assisted monitoring or identity-first security

Best For

Long-tenured trucking companies, freight operators, and family-owned logistics businesses in the Chattanooga area that want a provider with institutional knowledge of the local market and no risk of the MSP outgrowing them.

Not Ideal For

Fast-growth logistics tech startups or companies evaluating MSPs specifically for vertical transportation expertise.

Why They Rank #5

38 years is a meaningful number in a market where most MSPs don’t make it to 10. MCA’s longevity and local-ownership model earn it consistent points on stability. The lack of vertical documentation and national recognition is what separates it from the top three.

EpiOn Managed IT Services cloud IT Chattanooga TN homepage

EpiOn operates across Chattanooga, Nashville, and Knoxville with a cloud-first model built around measurable IT performance. It’s listed on Cloudtango with multiple client testimonials and describes itself as globally ranked. The compliance and cloud positioning is its strongest angle.

Key Strengths

  • Cloudtango listed with visible client reviews, including strong feedback on responsiveness and issue resolution speed
  • Cloud-first design philosophy: EpiOn focuses on moving clients off on-premise server rooms and toward resilient cloud architecture, which some logistics operations are still early in
  • Multi-city Tennessee presence means it can support logistics companies with offices in Nashville or Knoxville alongside Chattanooga
  • Performance metrics reporting gives clients visibility into IT investment outcomes

Limitations

  • No logistics or transportation vertical page exists on the website. The compliance and cloud focus skews more toward healthcare and professional services
  • No confirmed Tier 1 national list appearances during research, and the founding date is not independently confirmed
  • Cloud-first positioning may not fit logistics operations that rely heavily on on-premise infrastructure, TMS systems with local installation requirements, or specialized edge computing for warehouse or fleet management

Best For

Logistics and transportation companies in a cloud migration or digital transformation phase, or those with HIPAA/compliance requirements layered on top of basic IT management needs.

Not Ideal For

Freight companies with on-premise-heavy infrastructure or those evaluating based on vertical logistics experience.

Why They Rank #6

EpiOn’s cloud focus and compliance orientation make it a genuine fit for a specific logistics buyer, but the absence of a transportation vertical page and unconfirmed major awards limit its score relative to the providers above it.

Pioneer Technology transportation logistics IT Chattanooga TN homepage

Pioneer Technology has something most providers on this list don’t: a dedicated Transportation & Logistics IT page that explicitly describes the vertical. It also names Steam Logistics, one of Chattanooga’s most recognized logistics companies, as a client it has supported. That specificity matters. What limits its score is the review profile and limited national recognition.

Key Strengths

  • Dedicated transportation and logistics IT page with specific language about the freight industry’s cost and uptime pressures. Not a checkbox
  • Names Steam Logistics as a client engagement, which is a verifiable, real-world logistics reference
  • 100% US-based team, a clean infrastructure model, and a JV partnership with Blue & Co., a top-60 accounting firm, for cybersecurity and IT consulting
  • MSPAlliance certified, which adds an independent credentialing layer not common among smaller regional MSPs

Limitations

  • Founded 2014 (11 years) and no confirmed Tier 1 list appearances (MSP 501, CRN, Inc. 5000) during research
  • Clutch profile exists but shows 0 reviews. Limited independent review data means it’s harder for buyers to benchmark peer experience
  • Smaller team (50-249 per Clutch) relative to the operational needs of large carrier or 3PL environments

Best For

Small to mid-size transportation companies, freight brokerages, or logistics startups that want a provider with documented logistics IT framing and a named local client reference in the sector.

Not Ideal For

Enterprise-scale carriers or 3PLs that need a large bench of local engineers, multi-year national recognition, or deep ERP and infrastructure integration capabilities.

Why They Rank #7

Pioneer’s dedicated logistics IT content and Steam Logistics reference put it ahead of the alternatives that didn’t make this list. But the limited review data, younger track record, and lower award signal keep it in the seventh position.

How to Choose an MSP for Logistics and Transportation in Chattanooga

Start here: what’s your biggest IT risk? That answer usually dictates the right provider more than any other factor.

Freight and carrier companies — uptime and security. A TMS that goes down at midnight when a driver is waiting on a load assignment is a business problem, not just an IT problem. Look for MSPs with documented 24/7 monitoring, defined response SLAs in writing, and confirmed experience keeping operational systems stable. Scipio and WYRE both cover this ground.

3PLs and freight brokerages — ERP and systems integration. Managing clients, billing, carrier rate tracking, and dispatch from a patchwork of platforms is an IT management challenge, not just a helpdesk challenge. LBMC’s depth in Sage Intacct and Dynamics is relevant here in a way most pure-play MSPs aren’t.

Supply chain with OT/IT overlap. For warehouse systems, ELD integrations, and smart-manufacturing adjacency, InfoSystems’ supply chain practice and IBM infrastructure capability is the most documented option in this market.

Match provider size to your size. If you’re a 15-person freight brokerage, you’re not the right client for an MSP whose sweet spot is 200-seat enterprise environments. Ask directly about client size distribution before you get deep into a sales conversation — it’s among the most important fit signals, and most MSPs won’t volunteer it.

Budget signals. Chattanooga MSP pricing is generally below Nashville and Atlanta rates for comparable services. Expect managed IT contracts for small-business environments to run roughly $100–$175/user/month for full-service support; enterprise environments with compliance, colocation, or integration requirements run higher.

Pressure-test the 2 a.m. answer. Confirm your MSP understands what happens to your business when systems go down at 2 a.m. on a Sunday. If the answer is “we have 24/7 monitoring,” push further — ask how many incidents they resolved outside business hours last quarter. That response tells you more than the feature list.

LBMC Technology Solutions earns the top spot on this list, with the broadest documented service portfolio in Chattanooga, Cloudtango Global100 2026 recognition, and deep ERP integration capability that’s genuinely rare at the local MSP level.

If your priority is a Chattanooga-HQ provider with long tenure and local infrastructure, Scipio Technologies is the better fit, with 25 years in the market and its own data center. If your operation needs documented supply chain IT expertise with IBM-grade infrastructure backing, InfoSystems is the name to call. Browse all IT providers in Chattanooga to compare scores across the full local market, or see exactly how we score every provider before you start any conversations.

Things Buyers in Logistics IT Want to Know

A few do. Pioneer Technology has a dedicated transportation IT page and names a specific logistics client. InfoSystems has a documented supply chain practice with named automation vendors. Everyone else lists the industry on their website without much backing. Ask any prospective MSP to name a logistics client they currently support and describe what problem they solved. If they can’t answer that specifically, the claim is marketing.
Most full-service MSPs advertise 24/7 support, but SLAs vary. For critical outages (TMS down, connectivity loss, security incident), aim for a contractual 15-30 minute response time and ask what “response” means: alert acknowledgment, or active engineer on the issue. Those are different things. Ask for the actual SLA language before signing.
Depends on where your IT pain is. If you’re running standard SaaS tools (Microsoft 365, cloud-based TMS, standard connectivity), a strong generalist MSP handles it fine. If you have on-premise dispatch systems, ELD integrations, warehouse management overlaps, or regulatory compliance requirements for fleet data, documented vertical experience matters. The two scenarios have different risk profiles.
Check the third-party list appearances: Channel Futures MSP 501, Inc. 5000, CRN rankings. These require real data submission, not just applications. WYRE (MSP 501 #53, Inc. 5000 #745) and Scipio (MSP 501 #241) both appear on national lists in 2025. A firm that hasn’t appeared on any Tier 1 list in the last three years may be stable, but it’s not demonstrably growing by independent metrics.
Not automatically, but it’s worth asking about. Clutch reviews require a verified phone interview with a real client. Building a review profile takes deliberate effort. Several strong MSPs in Chattanooga have zero Clutch reviews, which doesn’t mean their clients are unhappy. Ask directly for client references you can call instead.
