A container ship doesn’t wait for your help desk to open at nine.
That’s the whole problem with buying managed IT for a logistics operation in Tacoma. Freight forwarders, customs brokers, drayage outfits, and warehouse operators around Commencement Bay run against vessel schedules and gate hours, not office hours. When an EDI handoff to a steamship line fails at 4 a.m., or a warehouse management system drops mid-shift, the cost shows up as detention fees and a stranded container. Not a ticket in a queue.
This page ranks the seven strongest managed IT providers serving Tacoma and the wider South Sound, scored on the same six factors we apply to every provider on the platform: verified client reviews, third-party awards, years in business, physical presence, documented industry specialization, and service breadth. You can read how every Trust Score gets built before you trust a single number.
One thing to know up front. No provider paid for placement, and no provider submitted their own data. Every award record, office address, founding year, and specialization claim on this page was re-verified against the provider’s own website before publication. Where the source research behind this page got something wrong, the correction is printed on that provider’s card rather than quietly folded in — and on this page that happened more than usual.
How We Ranked These Tacoma MSPs
Six criteria. Fixed weights. Applied identically to every provider in every market itreviews.co covers. Reviews carry 35%, awards 20%, years in business 15%, and 10% each for physical presence, industry specialization, and service breadth.
Review Score splits across Clutch at 15%, Google at 12%, and Cloudtango at 3%. Clutch reviews come from phone interviews with real clients, structured around specific project outcomes, which is why they outweigh a Google star rating. Volume runs on a logarithmic scale — the jump from 0 to 8 reviews tells you far more than the jump from 40 to 80. When a provider has no usable Clutch presence, that weight shifts proportionally to Google and Cloudtango. It is not deducted. Absence from a platform is never treated as a negative signal on this platform, and scores are always calculated on the data that exists.
That mechanic matters more here than in most markets, because six of these seven providers have either no Clutch profile or an empty one. Their review scores rest almost entirely on Google volume and rating, which is why the Reviews column below sits in a narrow band rather than spreading out the way it does in a market with deep Clutch participation.
Industry Awards counts Channel Futures MSP 501, CRN MSP 500, Inc. 5000, and Cloudtango MSP Select as Tier 1. Regional business awards and Clutch designations count as Tier 2. Calling yourself award-winning without naming the award counts as nothing. Years in Business treats tenure as a stability signal, because MSP contracts are long and switching costs are brutal. Physical Presence checks whether a provider actually operates in Pierce County or just runs a city page targeting it. Industry Specialization looks for dedicated vertical pages, named compliance frameworks, and real client references — not a bullet on a services page. Service Breadth rewards documented depth, so a provider explaining its EDR stack and incident response process scores above one that writes the word cybersecurity and stops.
A note on geography. Tacoma has a thin bench of pure-play MSPs headquartered inside city limits, so this list covers the South Sound corridor from Lacey through Tukwila. Providers with a confirmed Pierce County address scored higher on presence. Providers running Tacoma landing pages from a Bellevue or Seattle office scored lower, and several programmatic city-page operators were excluded entirely for having no confirmed local footprint at all.
Scores display as X.X out of 10. Highest score ranks first.

The Top 7 MSPs for Logistics and Transportation in Tacoma
Score Breakdown

Attentus is the only provider on this list whose growth has been checked by someone other than Attentus. Three straight years on the Inc. 5000 means audited revenue figures, not a badge bought from a directory.
Key Strengths
- Named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in 2023, 2024, and 2025 — the only multi-year Tier 1 streak among South Sound providers.
- 5.0 rating across 79 Google reviews on the Renton listing, the deepest verified review base in this comparison by a wide margin.
- A confirmed Tacoma office at 748 Market Street, listed on their own locations page, plus a (253) Pierce County support line printed in the header of every page on their site. Of the three highest-scoring providers here, they are the only one with a Pierce County address.
- Founded 2003 under Dustin Frost, now run alongside CEO Charles Bender, with both still active in the business.
- Documented client retention averaging 10 years, which matters more in logistics than in most verticals, because ripping out a working TMS integration mid-peak-season is nobody’s idea of a good quarter.
- Publishes Tacoma-specific service pages covering managed IT, IT outsourcing, backup and disaster recovery, and VoIP.
Limitations
- Their Clutch profile carries zero published reviews, so the most rigorous credibility source in this market is blank for them. Under our methodology that weight moves to Google rather than counting against them, but it also means their score leans almost entirely on one platform.
- The Tacoma address is a suite number in a downtown building, and we could not establish from public sources how many engineers are stationed there day to day. Ask who is physically in Tacoma and who drives down from Renton.
- Nothing on their site documents freight, warehousing, or supply chain work specifically, so a 3PL would be their vertical learning curve, not their fifth account like it.
A correction to the source research on this provider
The research behind this page scored Attentus 4 out of 10 on physical presence and listed “no Tacoma office confirmed on Google Maps” as a limitation, concluding that “a Tacoma buyer is buying a service area rather than a local office.” That is not accurate. Attentus lists a Tacoma office at 748 Market St #159, Tacoma WA 98402 on their own locations page alongside Seattle, Bellevue and Renton, and carries a (253) support line in their site header. Our own Tacoma healthcare ranking, published three days earlier, already scored that same office at 7.0. The presence sub-score was corrected from 4.0 to 7.0 for consistency, which moved the total from 7.075 to 7.375 — displayed as 7.4 rather than 7.1. The #1 position was not affected; the correction widened the margin rather than creating it. No other sub-score was touched.Best For
Logistics and distribution companies in the 25 to 200 user range that are growing fast, want flat-rate billing, and care more about responsiveness than deep freight-industry familiarity. Not Ideal For
Operators whose shortlist requires Clutch verification, or firms that need a named engineer who already knows what a drayage dispatch board looks like.Services
Offices
Why They Rank #1
Attentus wins this list on the two factors that carry the most weight, and they win them on verifiable evidence rather than positioning. A 5.0 average across 79 reviews is a genuine signal about service delivery at scale, and a three-year Inc. 5000 streak is revenue somebody audited. Add a real Tacoma address and the case gets stronger still. What they are, plainly, is a general-purpose Pacific Northwest MSP for growing SMBs that happens to be the strongest-scoring option available to a Tacoma logistics buyer. What they are not is a freight specialist — their specialization score of 4.0 is the second-lowest of the top four, and that is the honest trade.
Score Breakdown

Thirty-three years in, 107 people deep, and carrying more third-party recognition than every other provider on this page put together.
Key Strengths
- Named to CRN’s 2025 MSP 500 in the Elite 150 category, plus CRN Solution Provider 500 at #221 and CRN Tech Elite 250 in 2024.
- Recognized on Cloudtango MSP Select USA 2026, giving them two separate Tier 1 recognitions in the current cycle.
- Founded 1993 in Lacey, with roughly 107 employees and a services catalog spanning cybersecurity, networking, data center and cloud, digital workspace, and staff augmentation.
- Runs enterprise-grade infrastructure work, which is the closest thing in this market to the skill set a large warehouse or terminal operator needs when the network is the operation.
Limitations
- No Clutch profile surfaced in research, and 17 Google reviews at 4.6 is a modest public footprint for a firm this size. This is the single factor that costs them the top spot.
- Lacey sits about 25 miles south of the Port, so on-site response to a Tideflats facility involves I-5 and a real drive.
- Their site documents capabilities in depth but names no industry verticals, so there is no published evidence of freight, customs, or warehousing experience either way.
Best For
Larger logistics operators, terminal services companies, and multi-site distributors that need data center, network architecture, and security engineering rather than a help desk with a monitoring agent. Not Ideal For
A 20-person customs brokerage that wants a named account manager who knows their staff by first name.Services
Offices
Why They Rank #2
The award record and the bench are the strongest on this page, and by most objective measures Right! Systems is the more mature company. What kept them out of the top spot was the review factor, which carries 35% and where a 4.6 across 17 reviews simply cannot match a 5.0 across 79. Worth saying directly, though: if your environment is complex enough that network architecture matters more than ticket response time, the order here should probably flip for you. The gap between #1 and #2 is 0.34 points, and almost all of it is review volume rather than capability.
Score Breakdown

Fuse has quietly assembled one of the cleanest review records in the Puget Sound without much marketing noise around it.
Key Strengths
- 5.0 rating across 46 Google reviews, second only to Attentus on verified volume and rating combined.
- Four consecutive years on CRN’s MSP 500 — Pioneer 250 for 2022, 2023 and 2024, then the Security 100 category for 2025, which is a step up in category rather than a repeat. An earlier standalone MSP 500 placement in 2019 sits behind that run.
- Cloudtango MSP Select recognition in 2022, 2023 and 2026.
- Serving the Tukwila and greater Puget Sound market since 2009, with a management buyout backed by Merit Harbor Capital in 2017.
- Delivers VoIP alongside managed IT, which matters more for dispatch and driver-facing operations than it does for an office-only business.
Limitations
- Their Clutch profile carries no meaningful published rating, so verification depth is thin relative to their award record.
- Tukwila puts them roughly 20 miles north of Tacoma with no Pierce County office confirmed.
- No published vertical specialization anywhere on the site, in logistics or otherwise.
A correction to the source research on this provider
The research behind this page credited Fuse with “CRN MSP 500 Pioneer 250 appearances in 2023 and 2024” plus a single Cloudtango recognition in 2022, and flagged the CRN years for verification. Checked against Fuse’s own newsroom, the record is better than that: Pioneer 250 in 2022, 2023 and 2024, followed by a 2025 placement in the Security 100 category — four consecutive MSP 500 years — plus an earlier 2019 listing and Cloudtango MSP Select in 2022, 2023 and 2026. This matches what we published on the Tacoma healthcare ranking for the same provider. The Awards sub-score of 7.0 was not changed; the record is simply stated correctly.Best For
Warehouse operators, small carriers, and freight brokerages in the 15 to 75 user range that need reliable managed IT plus a phone system from one vendor. Not Ideal For
Compliance-driven operations, particularly anyone with DoD supply chain exposure through Joint Base Lewis-McChord who needs a documented CMMC program.Services
Offices
Why They Rank #3
Forty-six reviews at a perfect 5.0 is not an accident, and four straight years of CRN recognition confirm someone outside the company has looked at the operation. The distance from #2 comes down to tenure and depth. Fuse is 17 years old against Right! Systems at 33, and the services catalog reads capable rather than deep. For a mid-size warehouse or brokerage that wants one vendor for IT and phones, though, this is the most straightforward answer on the page.
Score Breakdown

Every other provider on this list would have to learn your business. SpyderWeb already publishes a page about it.
Key Strengths
- Publishes a named Port & Logistics practice describing EDI handoff monitoring and container-tracking outage detection for freight forwarders and 3PLs near the Port of Tacoma. Their own words: “Freight forwarders and 3PLs near the Port of Tacoma run 24/7 — our monitoring catches EDI handoff failures and container-tracking outages before customers call.” Nobody else on this page publishes a sentence like that.
- Operates from 725 Regents Blvd in Fircrest, a small Pierce County city inside Tacoma’s 98466 mailing area, roughly five minutes from downtown. They state on-site response inside Tacoma city limits is usually under an hour, and 30 to 45 minutes for urgent Port-adjacent work.
- Runs a CMMC readiness program covering gap assessment, remediation, and SPRS score support, which is directly relevant to JBLM-adjacent suppliers.
- Managing IT for Washington businesses since 2003, stated on both their homepage and their about page.
Limitations
- 7 Google reviews is a small evidence base, and no Clutch profile surfaced at all.
- No Tier 1 or Tier 2 award appearances found in research. This is what holds them out of the top three, not their capability.
- Their Google Maps category lists them as a telecommunications service provider rather than an IT support company, which suggests the managed services practice may be newer than the business.
- The Port & Logistics material sits on their Tacoma location page rather than in their main industries menu, which lists manufacturing, healthcare, retail, utilities, automotive and professional services. It is real, but it is not front and centre.
How we verified the specialization claim
SpyderWeb’s specialization score of 6.0 is the highest on this page, and their entire #4 position depends on it, so we checked it directly rather than taking the research on trust. Their general /industries page names six verticals and logistics is not among them — which initially looked like a failed claim. The Port & Logistics practice is real, but it lives on their Tacoma location page, with the EDI-handoff and container-tracking language quoted above. Founding year 2003 also confirmed. One detail corrected: the research placed them “inside the Tacoma 98466 zip.” 725 Regents Blvd is in Fircrest, a separately incorporated Pierce County city that shares a Tacoma mailing address. Pierce County presence holds; Tacoma city limits does not.Best For
Freight forwarders, customs brokers, and defense-adjacent suppliers who want a provider that already speaks the vocabulary and can be on site in minutes. Not Ideal For
Buyers who screen vendors on third-party validation before taking a meeting.Services
Offices
Why They Rank #4
Here is the tension this list exposes. SpyderWeb scored highest of any provider on industry specialization, and it was not close. But specialization carries 10% and reviews carry 35%, so a provider that has published exactly the right pages and collected almost no verifiable proof lands mid-table. Which is the correct outcome for the model and possibly the wrong outcome for a specific buyer. If freight-specific familiarity is your top requirement, put them on the shortlist and ask for three client references from the logistics book.
Score Breakdown

Not really an MSP in the way the others are. Closer to the infrastructure your MSP would be renting.
Key Strengths
- Headquartered at 1101 A Street in the historic Perkins Building downtown, with 24/7 support staffed by onsite personnel in the same facility.
- Runs two carrier-neutral data centers — the Perkins Building in downtown Tacoma and the Westin Building in Seattle — with a 100% uptime guarantee on their IP network.
- Operating continuously since 2001, confirmed on their own about page, with 4.9 stars on Google across 8 reviews.
- Carrier and cloud density most regional MSPs cannot match: AT&T, Comcast, Lumen, Zayo, Megaport, AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure all interconnect there. For a WMS or customs filing platform, that is a materially different hosting proposition than a closet in your warehouse.
- Perfect physical presence score, the only 10 out of 10 awarded on this page.
Limitations
- The services catalog covers colocation, connectivity, network design and build, cable and fiber install, server hosting and outsourced IT support, but stops short of the EDR, vCIO, and compliance-as-a-service layer a full MSP contract includes.
- Their Clutch profile exists with no published reviews, and 8 Google reviews is a thin base for a 25-year-old company.
- No third-party award recognition found.
A claim we could not confirm, and one we could
The research behind this page credited Optic Fusion with an “SSAE-16 SOC 1 Type 1 attested facility.” That attestation appears on a third-party data-center directory but nowhere on Optic Fusion’s own site, so it is not claimed above. If a SOC report matters to your hosting decision, ask them for it directly rather than relying on a listing. Their founding year did check out: their about page opens “Since 2001 Optic Fusion has provided carrier-class colocation and network connectivity to the Tacoma and South Puget Sound regions,” which supports the Years score of 10. Their homepage separately says “for the past 15 years,” which appears to be stale copy rather than a competing claim.Best For
Warehousing and terminal operators who need guaranteed uptime, redundant connectivity, and a place to put critical systems within a few miles of the Port. Not Ideal For
Anyone shopping for a single flat-rate contract covering help desk, endpoints, security, and strategy.Services
Facilities
Why They Rank #5
The scoring model penalizes Optic Fusion for being good at something narrower than what the model measures. They own the strongest local infrastructure position of anyone here and the weakest managed services documentation, and those two facts roughly cancel out. Plenty of logistics operators would be well served pairing Optic Fusion for connectivity and colocation with a separate MSP for endpoint and user support — and given that they sit two miles from the Tideflats, that pairing is more practical here than it would be in most cities.
Score Breakdown

Founded in 1990 as Seitel Leeds & Associates, renamed in 2006, and converted to an employee stock ownership plan in 2022.
Key Strengths
- 36 years of continuous operation, the longest tenure of any provider on this list. Their own homepage puts it plainly: leading IT support in the greater Puget Sound area since 1990.
- A Tacoma office at 221 South 28th Street, Suite 101, listed in their site footer alongside the Seattle office with a separate local phone number.
- Employee ownership since 2022, which tends to correlate with lower engineer turnover — and engineer turnover is what buyers actually feel when service degrades.
- 4.8 rating across 11 Google reviews, with a documented client base spanning government agencies, nonprofits, professional services, and utilities.
- Service desk staffed 100% by local technicians reachable through one phone number, email, chat, or ticket portal, with documented handoff for organizations that keep internal IT.
Limitations
- Their Clutch profile is live with no reviews published, and no Tier 1 or Tier 2 awards surfaced. For a firm operating 36 years, having nothing in the award column is hard to interpret.
- The documented client base skews toward agencies, utilities and nonprofits, with nothing indicating freight, warehousing, or supply chain experience.
- Nothing published about after-hours or shift coverage, which is the first filter for an operation running against gate hours.
A correction to the source research on this provider
The research behind this page scored Seitel 3 out of 10 on physical presence — the lowest on the page — on the stated grounds that “Google Maps shows a Seattle office on 1st Avenue with no Pierce County listing, so Tacoma is a coverage claim rather than a confirmed footprint.” Seitel lists a Tacoma office at 221 South 28th Street, Suite 101, Tacoma WA 98402 in the footer of their own website, with its own (206) 832-2875 line. You can see it in the screenshot above. The presence sub-score was corrected from 3.0 to 7.0, matching how we scored comparable own-site-confirmed Pierce County addresses elsewhere in this market, which moved the total from 5.370 to 5.770 — displayed as 5.8 rather than 5.4. Their #6 position did not change. No other sub-score was touched.Best For
Back-office and administrative operations inside a larger logistics organization, particularly anyone with public-sector or utility ties. Not Ideal For
Operations running 24/7 shift patterns that need after-hours coverage documented in a contract.Services
Offices
Why They Rank #6
Tenure, stability, and a genuine Tacoma address carry Seitel most of the way, and then the scoring model runs out of things to reward. Three and a half decades of operating is genuinely rare. So is having nothing to show for it in the award column or on Clutch, and for a buyer comparing providers on evidence, that combination is hard to interpret. They are a credible choice for the office side of a logistics business and an unproven one for the operational side.
Score Breakdown

Their site lists a handful of practice areas. One of them is logistics, described as connecting multiple business sites and a mobile workforce. That is a more specific promise than most firms twenty times their size will make.
Key Strengths
- Operates from 633 North Mildred Street, Suite G in Tacoma with a 5.0 Google rating across 5 reviews and a local 253 number.
- Publishes logistics as a named practice area, with multi-site and mobile workforce connectivity called out explicitly — the second of only two providers here to name the vertical at all.
- Builds VoIP phone systems, integrated networks, and remote security tooling in house rather than reselling a stack they do not touch.
Limitations
- Roughly 3 employees per public business records, which caps capacity and creates real key-person risk on a multi-year contract.
- No Clutch profile, no Cloudtango listing, no awards, and a 5-review base.
- Their website is thin — several sections carry a heading and little else — which makes it hard to evaluate service depth from the outside.
Why their tenure score is deliberately conservative
The research behind this page could not establish 2bridges’ founding year through any independent source and scored Years at 5.0 on that basis, flagging it for verification. We could not close it either. Business aggregators indicate a 2005 Washington incorporation, and their own site carries a 2014 copyright notice, but neither is a primary source and the two do not agree. Rather than move a score on aggregator data, the conservative 5.0 stands. If 2005 is correct, their tenure is materially understated here — worth asking them directly, because it is the one factor that could move them off the bottom of this table.Best For
Owner-operated brokerages, small drayage outfits, and family warehousing businesses under about 20 users that want a local person who picks up the phone. Not Ideal For
Any operation where a single engineer being on vacation would be a business continuity problem.Services
Offices
Why They Rank #7
Scale is the whole story. The logistics positioning is real and the local address is real, but the Trust Score measures verifiable credibility, and a three-person shop with five reviews does not have much of it yet. That is a statement about evidence, not about the quality of their work. For a five-truck operator who wants someone in Tacoma who answers the phone, the score is close to irrelevant.
How to Choose a Logistics MSP in Tacoma
Start with your operating hours, not your user count. If your business runs against vessel schedules or gate hours, contracted after-hours coverage is the first filter, and it eliminates providers faster than budget does. Ask for the on-call rotation in writing, not a reassurance that someone always picks up.
Price out what actually breaks. A customs brokerage losing its filing platform for two hours is a different emergency than a corporate office losing email. Work out your own hourly cost of downtime before you take a single sales call, because that number decides whether you are buying a per-user help desk contract or a redundant infrastructure design. The Port of Tacoma’s cargo and real estate operations support more than 41,000 jobs and $3 billion in labor income across Pierce County, and most of those jobs sit inside companies with fewer than 100 employees and no internal IT bench at all.
Ask who has actually touched an EDI integration. Ask every provider on your shortlist to describe the last time they troubleshot an EDI handoff, a TMS outage, or a scanner fleet on a warehouse floor. Vague answers here are informative. SpyderWeb and 2bridges are the only two providers on this list who publish anything logistics-specific, and neither ranks in the top three, so most buyers will be teaching their MSP the business either way. Budget for that.
Then ask how far the drive is. Remote resolution handles most of it. Most is not all. When a switch dies in a Tideflats warehouse, the difference between an engineer in Tacoma and an engineer in Lacey is 40 minutes of production. Five of these seven providers have a confirmed Pierce County address — Attentus, SpyderWeb, Optic Fusion, Seitel and 2bridges. Right! Systems and Fuse Networks do not, and both are roughly 20 to 25 miles out. Ask any provider based outside the county for a written on-site response window and check whether it is business-hours only.
Decide whether you need compliance documentation. If you are in the JBLM supply chain, CMMC readiness moves from nice to mandatory, and only SpyderWeb documents a program. Regional container volume through the Northwest Seaport Alliance reached 3.2 million TEUs in 2025, down 5.5% from 2024, which means margins are compressed and audit failures are expensive in a way they were not three years ago. One more piece of advice that costs nothing: ask for a sample monthly report and a client reference inside logistics, not just any client reference. A provider who cannot produce either is telling you something.
Attentus Technologies earns the top position on evidence, not on freight credentials. Three consecutive Inc. 5000 appearances, 79 Google reviews at a 5.0 average, and a confirmed Tacoma office are the strongest verified signals available in this market, and for a growing distribution or logistics company in the 25 to 200 user range, that record is the safest bet on the page.
Two caveats worth taking seriously. Right! Systems beats Attentus outright on awards, tenure, and engineering depth, and the 0.34-point gap between them is almost entirely review volume — so infrastructure-heavy operators should evaluate them first. And if freight-specific familiarity outranks third-party validation on your list, SpyderWeb Communications is the only provider here with a published Port and Logistics practice, even at a Trust Score of 6.0.
The uncomfortable finding on this page is that no provider scored well on both logistics specialization and verified credibility. The two firms that publish freight-specific material rank fourth and seventh. The three that rank highest publish none. That gap is the market’s, not the model’s, and it is worth knowing before you assume your shortlist contains a specialist.

Each row is the weighted sum of the six sub-scores, rounded to one decimal. All seven rows reconcile exactly to the totals shown — Attentus 7.375, Right! Systems 7.035, Fuse Networks 6.370, SpyderWeb 5.960, Optic Fusion 5.940, Seitel Systems 5.770, and 2bridges 4.850. Two Physical Presence cells (marked in gold) were corrected after publication research contradicted the source material: Attentus 4.0 → 7.0 and Seitel 3.0 → 7.0, both because each provider lists a Tacoma office on its own website that the source research reported as absent. Full detail is on each provider’s card. The rank order is unchanged by both corrections. No other sub-score was adjusted. Six of the seven providers have no usable Clutch rating; under the published methodology that weight shifts proportionally to Google and Cloudtango rather than being deducted, so their Reviews scores rest mainly on Google volume and rating.
